not all register bits of nucleo-F439ZI are shown

Hi! I wish you are doing great!

My problem is, I'm working on nucleo-f439zi board, in the reference manual, in register Flash-OPTCR, bit 4 is BFB2.

But, when I choose the correct board (Nucleo-F439ZI), and go to debug mode, then SFRs, I only find F429 registers, no F439!

In another words, if I'm correct, there's no SVD for the nucleo-f439 on STM32CubeIDE v1.11.

A picture is attached, sorry for the low quality.

Thank you in advance.

Hello @OMuha.1 and welcome to the Community :),

  • The STM32F439.svd file is available in the STM32F4 System View Description. You can add manually the specific file by following the steps descripted in this post.
  • The BFB2 bit is missing in the STM32F439.svd file. For that, I reported this issue internally.
  • I let our STM32CubeIDE expert @Semer CHERNI to investigate concerning this "there's no SVD for the nucleo-f439 on STM32CubeIDE v1.11".

Internal ticket number: 139990 (This is an internal tracking number and is not accessible or usable by customers).

Hello @OMuha.1 ,

The svd issue is fixed in STM32F4 System View Description 2.0 version.

For STM32CubeIDE issue, could you please try to use the latest STM32CubeIDE version 1.19.0 and let me know if the issue is solved or not?

Thank you.
