Unable to access the ST marketplace

Hello, my CubeIDE stuck while looping trying to access  the marketplace where I need to download and install EGit plugin. During this "looping" the window cannot cancel the operation , neither close the window - typical of Java' "runaway" ... After  probably 15 min it reported "internet connection failure" yet the Marketplace window is still looping and unresponsive to any input neither to cancellation attempts. I am using internet non stop while the marketplace is still searching... Also immediately prior to accessing marketplace I logged-in and accessed the STM site to check for updates and got a fast positive reply.

This problem with marketplace continues since yesterday.... does it have to do with new updated version 1.18.1 of CubeIDE which I updated recently?

Does anybody else have this problem with new IDE ?

i never use it, but i just tried: same, looping in connection...just could "stop" and "cancel" , to close the window.

btw on MxLinux ,  IDE 1.18.1 .

just tried, at first, same behavior on IDE 1.17.0 , but then see market; so needs long time, to show anything.

I am on Ubuntu Linux, IDE v1.18.1

close the Window is not possible because process is running and must be "cancelled" . Cancel is also impossible, keeps looping. Even more ridiculous -> kill the IDE process and it is disappeared from the processes list, yet it is still running ... The only way for me to kill it is to kill the Java process it is running on...

Tried this on my second Ubuntu laptop with the same IDE version - the same result.\

BTW your thinking that it was OK when you finally got this stable window without looping is wrong... - I also had this situation seemingly good but once I tried to search it started looping without end...

Ok, it seems, there is a problem - i tried again, it didnt work - just wait, but i could stop it (cancel), then, after some time it stopped.

So its for sure not, what it should be; i tried maybe 2 y ago, searched around on marketplace, installed something...

Looks like only 2 causes possible : either ST marketplace is messed up, or a Java version got a bug.

Although Java is still doing everything else in CubeIDE and all that is fine except working with Marketplace site... but it is theoretically possible that only that site is using a particular Java functions which happened to be buggy...

More likely something is buggy in Marketplace site, it's configuration or links in there.

How to turn this post into a bug report?

I used Marketplace many times in the past... never had a problem... just needed again to get there to download the latest EGit plugin...

But this was the first time with this version of IDE...

Now the problem is fixed. It was apparently problem with STM Marketplace site.
