STM32CubeMonitor (MCUs)

Hallo, I am saving the log files of the chart in the CUBEMonitor software. I read certain values from the MCU through Cube Monitor and save them as .CSV. However I've noticed that the first file I save after opening the software does start from 0 seconds. In case I stop the data acquisition and clear the chart and start it again. A new log file is created with advanced time i.e. although the chart does show the time scale to be from 0 seconds. This problem doesn't occur if I restart the software, but it is tedious everytime to restart the software. Is there a way I can reset the time for every acquisition made? Thanks

Hi everyoneI need to capture the step response from a temperature regulator circuit (for estimating regulator parameters) and I want to use Cube Monitor for that.No I get the example successfully running with a simple acquisition, but I stuck with further adjustions.As far I see, Cube Monitor can't handle booleans, so I simply switch to integer variables and just compare them with 0, it looks like this here in my main code:#ifdef ACQUIRE_STEP_RESPONSE while(waitForStartingStepRespone == 0){ } setHrtimPwmToAll(stepresponseStepSetting); while(waitForEndingStepRespone == 0){ } setHrtimPwmToAll(0.0); #endif So I just set the variable waitForStartingStepResponse to 0 by hitting a button. Hello,I would like to trigger a STM32 device reset from inside STM32CubeMonitor.I'm developing an application using STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeMonitor. Duringe measuring of my variables via STM32CubeMonitor it is possible that my device gets into a reduced function safe state (on purpose). Then it would be very helpful to trigger a device reset via a button like I'm able to do during debugging in STM32CubeIDE.I understand currently only the topics: Read, Start and Stop are available for a probe-node. Is it possible to trigger a reset via additional (maybe undocumented) options or is this feature planned in a future release?If not is there a workaround available? I tried to connect to the GDB server opened by the probe-node after starting the acquisition but wasn't successful. As far as a saw it, the server is always opend on a different port?!. Dear All, I want to use STM32CubeMonitor to monitor 64-bit variables, such as int64_t or uint64_t. However, it seems that 64-bit variables cannot be selected from the variable list (they are not displayed).Is there any way to achieve this?Best Regards,Fan         

Hi everyoneI have a - for sure very basic - CubeMonitor flow. The goal later is to achieve a step response for regulator parameter estimating, but at first I want to start with showing temperatures only and fail here. What I managed to do already:Probe connecting seems to be successfull.Importing the .elf file seems to be successfull.Deploying also works.I put some screenshots in, maybe somebody else has an idea what goes wrong here?  

Hello,I am using STM32-U585I-IOT02A board. I have initialized USB-C SINK TCPP project with fixed 9V settings. On STM32CubeMonUCPD, 'ibus(mA)' value is always zero when connected BMS board shows charging current more than 1A. Please let me know if I missed something. Thank you.

I was trying to create a bar chart that represent some PIDs in my OBD2 Emulators Project.However, in Cube Monitor, I think that when creating chart graphs or line graphs, the Cube Monitor can not provide an option to assign text above every bar in a bar chart or assign a text along each line in a line graph. I believe that the Cube Monitor chart graphs can only provide "legends" and not anything else. It also can not edit the legends to change their text.Can you confirm this please? If not then can you guide how to achieve assigning text on each bar, if possible?

I ran the CubeMonitor-UCPD app on my MacBook Pro(M1 pro, MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1), but it didn't open properly.Does the app support MacOS 15?

Power measurement with the STLINK-V3PWR does not work on my notebook because the USB 3.0 port cannot supply enough power. The PC software STM32CubeMonitor-Power - v1.2.0 reports "error Power measurement not available. Please use a more powerful USB port." With an existing USB 2.0 hub with power supply it does not work either. Is there any recommendation with which USB hub (with additional power supply) it works?Is there another workaround?

Hello,I am using the latest version of STM32 Monitor with STLink V3 probes, and everything is working correctly.My only issue is the refresh rate of the STLink probe status on STM32CubeMonitor, which is currently 20 seconds. We are performing frequent reprogramming of our boards for development, and we need to reduce this time to 5 seconds.I tried the method suggested on the STMicroelectronics wiki, but I couldn't find the specified value in the folder \STM32CubeMonitor\resources\app\node_modules\@stm32\stm32cubemonitor-stlink-protocol\.Could you please guide me on how to adjust this value?Best regards,

Hi, I am already able to visualize the data throuhg the monitor plot. I am trying to control a digital LED on the STM32 Cube Monitor based on a comparative condition. For example if I have two values being pooled, how can I set the thresholds between the values so that the LED has a TRUE or a FALSE state?

Dear Sir, I've been using CubeMonitor to monitor data for quite a while, and it really is a convenient tool.I recently started developing a new system with new MCU, STM32H5.However, when I use CubeMonitor to monitor the data, the data remains 0 all the time, as shown in the image.I have checked the variable in the IDE, and the variables indeed have normal values.I'm not sure if this is related to the STM32H5, because when I was using the STM32F3 before, everything was working fine. I also used the NUCLEO-F303RE and NUCLEO-H563ZI to verify this issue.I create a simple accurmated counting program, and on the F303, everything works fine.But on the H563, the data always remains 0.Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?Best Regards,

Hi,I am looking for a STM Nucleo board which can support output voltage of 5V and parallelly can monitor the real time current graphs using any software (Ex: STM32powermonitor..etc). Currently I am using "STMICROELECTRONICS Expansion Board, STM32L496VGT6 MCU, Power Consumption Measurement, for STM32 Nucleo" which can support till 3.6vI am ; looking for a similar board that supports 5v.Please let me know if there is any. Thanks

As a Fedora user, finding that STM32CubeMonitor is only distributed for Linux as pair of .deb packages for Ubuntu was a disappointment. So I created a container to run it in. This may also help those running newer versions of Ubuntu LTS, which is incompatible with the supplied .debs.https://github.com/mobilinkd/STM32CubeMonitorI hope this is not needed for long and that ST will package this software for use on a wider range of Linux systems. Or maybe publish their own sets of containers for Linux.

I am using STM32CubeMonitor with the STM32H503CBT6, but I can't observe my variables. Previously, I used the STM32F1, and it still worked.
