STM32CubeMonitor looses some variable selections on Edit

After rebuilding an ELF file, going into the Edit Variables node indicates that those variables alphabetically near the top are retained but those further down the list have been dropped requiring them to be re-selected.

Is this a memory overflow and is there a way of allocating more memory so this doesn't keep happening?
