STM32CubeMX (MCUs)

Hello,     I have a custom board with STM32F407 CPU,  LSM6DSV16XTR accelerometer+gyroscope and LIS2MDLTR magnetometer.I aim to get board inclination and the position of the north using the magnetometer for a telescope. Using CubeMX, I have enabled the LSM6DSV16B and the LIS2MDLTR in the Middleware package. When generating, CubeMX removes the I2C1 initialization from main. But I need the I2C1 peripheral for other devices in the board, not only for MEMS. What is the correct way to manage this? Thank you.

Hello, my team and I are using STM32CubeMX v6.10.0 to generate a Keil project and hardware initialisation code for our embedded project. We've been using it for about six months and it mostly works fine.But recently, I made some configuration changes in the .ioc, regenerates the Keil project, and I noticed a LOT of modified XML tags in the Keil .uvprojx file with a git diff:I thought I've done something wrong so I tried different things but I always ended up with the same result. Here is a non-exhaustive list of my attempts:- discard all changes in the git repository to get back to a clean state, and generate code- install more recent versions of STM3CubeMX (6.11.1 and 6.12.0) and generate code- delete .mxproject file and generate codeNone of these works. We also have our toolchain folder in a custom location, shared between developpers, and for some reason CubeMX nows adds those file to the Keil project sources, while it used to completly ignore them (we had to add them by hand).

Hello dear community,I'm interested in the en.x-cube-gnss1 middleware package as I'm developping a solution based on a custom GPS module.For me, this ST package is a good starting point to write my own package. An Stm32 ide project was made in our company. The person who did it left the company. We can't find the ioc file (as we want to change some things in the mx project). Is there a way to recreate the ioc from the existing CubeIDE project? Thanks in advance.

I have been trying to get the CMSIS DSP FFT function to work on my NUCLEO-F446RE and have a confusing observation after hours of troubleshooting: when I try to use 128 points for the FFT data I get a Hard Fault, but change the number of points to 256 or 512 and it works as expected. I'm only using sample data of a sin wave so no changes other than number of points.Has anyone seen this before? As I step through trying to debug why 128 points doesn't work it looks like the arm_rfft_fast_init_f32() call is the issue. No doubt related, but when I try to Step Into the rfft_fast_init() call I get the following error:Can't find a source file at "C:\Users\clamar01\fork3\CMSIS_5\CMSIS\DSP\Projects\GCC/../../Source/TransformFunctions/arm_rfft_fast_init_f32.c" Locate the file or edit the source lookup path to include its location.Funny thing is I don't know who user clamar01 is...no user on my computer. We've made a pack (using STM32PackCreator) that contains a few files with a proprietary file extension (.eis). When importing the pack in CubeMX these files are not included.If I rename the files to .txt instead they are included when the pack is imported in CubeMX. I can see that the files actually are in the pack by renaming it to .zip and unpacking it manually. Using STM32H7.Does anyone know how to fix this? Is there a list somewhere with "approved" file extensions that can be modified?Thank youAnders  

Has anybody got experience in QLFP128 substitute for QLFP64 using eDesignSuite examples with accompanying FW and Freemarker templates? 

I tried enabling the LWIP_SNMP_V3_MBEDTLS and LWIP_SNMP_V3_CRYPTOCan in CubeMX and generated the code, then it is giving me an error as some header files are missing and which are related to MD5 and SHA.  In CubeMX, They have mentioned “LWIP_SNMP_V3 enables EXPERIMENTAL SNMPv3 support. THIS IS UNDER DEVELOPMENT AND SHOULD NOT BE ENABLED IN PRODUCTS”.Could you please let me know if we can implement SNMPV3 with NUCLEO-H743ZI2 in the products with authenticatoion and privacy?  Does it execute successfully?

HiI have problems with the I2C frequency when I'm generating code with CubeMX 6.12.0 for the STM32U5A9. The timing register from the I2C3 is generated wrong, which leads to a frequency around 350kHz instead of selected 400kHz in FastMode operation.The tool generates 0x0010061A and regarding the datasheet example (see printscreens) it should generate something like 0x10320309.Can you fix that in the next version?Thanks in advance nobody 

HiI add ethernet communication to my program with STM32CubeMx and I just compiled and run it. I have a problem:if I disconnect Jlink the board I have a ping error. but I run the code with 3 times click on run in MDK-ARM the board will ping.I also try my app without MX_LWIP_Init();if I comment this line all thing is good.you can find 3-time click video here

I just updated to CubeMX 6.12.0 and Firmware Pack STM32Cube FW_H7 V1.11.2.  I noticed that the internal ADC selection (for ADC3 on STM32H750) is only partially working.  The first time you select an internal channel, it works.  However, if you then select a different internal channel, it does not enable the new channel.  I verified this by reading ADC3_Common CCR register.  I also tested with optimizations off to be sure it wasn't an optimization issue.  I am using Keil MDK-ARM.To reproduce:1) Call HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel() with channel set to ADC_CHANNEL_VREFINT (do a conversion if desired)2) Call HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel() with channel set to ADC_CHANNEL_VBAT (do a conversion if desired)In the above steps, only VREFEN will be set.  VBATEN will not be set on the second call.  Switching the order will make VBATEN set but VREFEN will never be set.To work around, I have to manually select the desired internal channel any time I use more than 1 internal

Hi SirI am currently encountering a problem in the current detection part of the FOC. The circuit uses the G431 internal OPA PGA for signal amplification processing and connects it to the ADC channel. However, I have been unable to read the correct value in my current attempts.I have changed to using ADC injection conversion alone, using the PWM signal as the injection conversion signal, and using the power supply to directly input voltage to the ADC pin to make sure that the ADC related code is normal.Later, I will create a separate project for the OPA code with the following settings:No matter how the input voltage changes, the output remains at 3.3V.  

I can not find any complete project for USBX or TinyUsb library to drive. Can anyone to help me please?i need USB CDC VCP AND AUDIO DEVICE simultaneously in custom board.   

I am using:STM32CubeIDE  Version 1.11.0STM32CubeMX  Version 6.7.0I used STM32CubeMX to update itself to Version 6.12.0  (to location C:\Program Files\STMicroelectronics\STM32Cube\STM32CubeMX)Problem:I cannot open/edit BLE_HeartRate.ioc file because it says it was created using CubeMX ver 6.11.0 and CubeIDE is using CubeMX ver 6.7.0.. When using STM32CubeIDE, the 'Help About' still reports STM32CubeMX as version 6.7.0. I have no idea how to tell my CubeIDE to use the newer CubeMX. I would think it would be taken care of automatically. What is going on?

Dear ST, Users have for years been complaining that Cube is not giving them fair warning regarding speed limitations of PC2_C/PC3_C in STM32H7. Customers are having to respin boards because they fail to notice the fine-print in a 300 pages datasheet. See Here and Here . I'm sure other examples could be found. Please make some changes to CubeMX/IDE to protect users against costly respins and time wasted debugging silicon issues. @AScha.3 @heveskar @LCE  

Hello, I want to get started using ST microcontrollers. My work computer does not have an internet connection so I need some help installing the software on this computer. I want to use the STM32CubeMXI have downloaded the installation file onto a disk and have installed it on my computer. The problem is when I create a project I don't see any devices to choose. Hi,I'd like to create a project using your STM32U031K8U6 device, but it seems, that the project template is corrupt.Creating a project by access MCU selector->STM32U031K8U6, start projectProblem is reproducible on 2 computers. Tried already Help->refresh data, no effect. Clould you pls fix that? Cube Version 6.1, but I think it will affect all versions. Cheers,Florian

 =< is non-standard. Should be <= instead. Same issue exists in similar warnings for PLLN and PLLR, and possibly elsewhere. I Found this in a G4 project, if that matters.

if you want to use ADC to DAC and have 200hz output. what is the first thing to do? connect the ADC to the DAC or set the output frequency first until it reaches 200hz?
