CubeProgrammer GUI works, but CLI -> "unsupported device (DevID - 0x0000)

I'm setting up toolchains and workflows and cannot get the CLI to read a non-zero deviceID.

I've tried updating drivers to latest and firmware to V2J35M26. Same Issue.

I've tried several different nucleo boards (of the F446 and F412 variety) and even an st-link v3 w/ some other boards and a F446, doesn't work.

I've tried version 2.1.0 and 2.2.0 of the programmer.

Please Advise.

I just tested the same scenario and i did not have any problems.

Could you please send me a screenshot that proves your firmware update to V2J35M26.

Likely to be some situational dependency.

Avoid USB hubs and docking stations. DELL machines, and remote diagnostic utilities.

Try different cables, or ports on the machine. Try different make/model of machine, confirming if issue follows or not.
