Program crash if MCU not powered

I wanted to connect to my STM32 MCU with STM32CubeProgrammer but forgot to power on the board. The programmers (I had 2 boards with 2 STLINK-v3MINIs connected) were detected but when I connected to one, STM32CubeProgrammer crashed. When powered everything worked fine. Something to look into for next version.

System:
