STM32 Cube Programmer Hangs at step 8

While installing the program for my windows 10  it hangs at step 8 which is shortcuts set ups. So I have been reaserching the internet and forums for a while still didn't manage to find a solution

I have the same problem and still can't find a solution. I tried the setup in 4 computers and only one of them was successful and it was a coding pc which had many applications installed so maybe there is a software package that needs to be installed.

Did you use Admin rights to install STM32CubeProgrammer?

Yes, I tried using admin rights, different folder, 32-64 bit installers, installing java versions etc.

We have the same problem. Tried on many computers. No luck. Anybody solved this problem on Windows 11?

I believe this problem is related to your Windows Language. I had the similar issue in the past and changed my Windows language to English. Everything worked fine after that.

Even though I've set my computer's language to English, I can't install it. Also, there doesn't seem to be anything unusual in the installation directory.
