STM32CubeProgrammer silent installation/uninstallation

Hello Team,

We are currently attempting to perform a silent installation/uninstallation for the application “SetupSTM32CubeProgrammer_win64.exe” on our Windows 11 devices to meet business requirements.

 

Despite trying multiple silent parameters and installation switches, the installer continue to launch in interactive mode but does not proceed silently.

 

This installation is required to support ongoing business operations, and we would appreciate your guidance or confirmation on whether silent installation method is available for this package.

 

Kindly advise us on the recommended approach or provide alternative solutions to help us to achieve this.

This is supported in new releases of STM32CubeProgrammer. Please refer to section 1.2.7 in the user manual available under this link.

Similar to the OP, we have been trying to figure out the process/flags to deploy Programmer via MS Intune Company Portal as we cannot install software directly on our restricted machines.

Could you please advise how this can achieved?

We've gone through the installation process on another machine to get the automatic install XML to repackage but have not found a successful set of flags. Tried installing as both system and user level with various install command variations

Looking internally, I have found an open tracker for Microsoft Intune support (Internal tracking number: 184488). However, from what I understood, this should already be supported since CubeProgrammer supports the silent install mode.

Could you further detail the issue you're encountering exactly (Flags you tried etc..) ? With this repackage/XML you got, are you able to install silently on another machine (Without MS Intune)?
