Hello,

DFU is not working in STM32Cube Programmer, I can see the connected board in device manager under universal serial bus controllers, please your advise.

Thanks

Does it show up in device manager as a DFU device? Show a screenshot. It's not in that mode by default, you need to start the bootloader with USB enabled and nothing else talking to the chip.

Hello @AAmer.1

So, it is necessary to know if your Board contains a bootloader or not.

Best regards,

Nesrine

this is the reason why I'm trying to connect to it, I need to flash it with bootloader.

It is necessary to check the boot on the system memory.

Hello @AAmer.1

I think that the problem is on the user's own board not on the Cubeprogrammer.

Best regards,

Nesrine

Hi @AAmer.1

This is not clear here if we are talking about a tool problem ( STM32CubeProgrammer/ Windows) or a board bring-up problem ( you use your own board ?)

So did you already succeed to use STM32CubeProgrammer on one ST devkit such as DK2 or EV1 ?

Please confirm by "own board" you are talking about a custom PCB design at your end ? Which STM32MP1 reference ?

Is your design close to ST board ?

Thanks for answer.

Olivier
