STM32L431 CANBUS Bootloader with stlinkv3-pwr

I attempted to flash my STM32L431 using an ST-Link v3 with STM32CubeProgrammer. I've connected the CRX pin to PB8 and the CTX to PB9, with BOOT0 set high. Despite successful attempts using SPI and USART, flashing via CAN always results in errors. I've tried sending a 0x79 message on the CAN bus using a PeakCAN, but the bus remains busy with no response. Additionally, I have a 12MHz external oscillator. Is there a solution to this issue?
