UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode

When I connect my STM32H7 MCU to cube programmer with ST link V2, I'm unable to connect, it is throwing a error "UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode" and in serial number is "F".

• I changed shared to enabled and tried too, it is showing NO STM detected.

Hello @GSS,

The message "UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode" is not an error.

It's displayed to inform users that when connecting under reset, a hardware reset will be performed (Regardless of the value of reset mode selected in GUI).

From the screenshot you've shown, I highly doubt you're using an authentic ST-Link. Please make sure to get a probe from an authorized distributor.
