Version 2.13.0 on macOS memory leak?

when running STM32CubeProgrammer 2.13.0 under macOS 13.2.1 Ventura on Apple M1 the application allocates excessive amounts of Memory. This was observed when running the programmer in automatic mode for several days. The allocation was about 69 GB.

 

MacOS warns with a nagging low memory warning.
