Assembler instruction set STM8A Vs ST7

    Is the instruction set ( Assember) of the ST7 compatible for STM8A? or vice versa

    No.

    The stm8 is kind of a superset of the st7 and some mnemonics may be similar of even eaxactly the same, but there is no assembler compatibility (there cannot be, the main registers do not have the same size).
