Apparently (US Sales Office) the 32k ''free'' variation of Cosimic Discovery package expires after one year. As of 5/24/2010, pricing has not been determined.

Is there a non-expiring free compiler? I can wish to learn, but not if it's going to cost $1000 after one year. There are other platforms.

    Hi ki.jo,

you can use 16k version of Cosmic compiler. It does not expire after one year.

My understanding was that 16k product was discontinued, or not available.

If I could get it, would I have to get a license from Cosmic?

    Sorry folks.

I'm downloading the 16k version. If this does what it appears to state (not hidden ''gotchas'') I'm happy.

This (16k, no expiration) compares with other vendor's offerings nowadays.
