COSMIC compile error

When I go to compile the sample code from ST's site, I get the error ''Can't Access File: .Idea_Temp\IDEABLD.BAT in Project directory. Check access rights .....''

I tried searching for IDEABLD.BAT, and I can't find it anywhere on my computer. I've already tried reinstalling the COSMIC compiler, and still get this error. Any suggestions?

Just to follow up, I never did get a solution of how to make the COSMIC IDE work. I ended up installing STVD (which calls the STM8 COSMIC compiler, BTW) and that seems to work just fine.

Hello,

we did reply to your email suggesting that the problem probably comes from an installation with ''non-standard'' paths and since we had no feedback on that we assumed the issue was closed.

Now you have a working solution so I guess you will just stick with it, but if you want to get IDEA working please contact us directly as you already did (or continue the discussion here if you prefer).
