Error creating process for executable cxstm8 The system cannot find the file specified. Failed to create process.

when i am trying to compile ST Visual develop 4.3.12 with cosmic compiler 4.4.9.0 it is showing

that the executable could not be found you can fix it by editing your too lset settings.

i try to set root path as C:\Program files\cosmic\ fse_compilers\CXSTM8

i am using windows XP and trying to install software again but it showing same error.

please any one help me to solve this problem

Perhaps very few people use your MCU/toolchain combination ?

Have you tried to contact Cosmic (FAQs, forum, support) ?

They gave reply like this when i contact cosmic support.

As you are using STVD which is not a COSMIC’s product, you may contact the ST’s forum.what to do how can i solve this problem.

Hello. For me, the problem was in the template of the Standart peripheral library. The problem was obtained because in the example project include directories SPL was in the folder "Libraries" but in the project includes "libraries" I renamed it and it works. Note:: the libraries must be on 4 levels upper than then project directory (like that ../../../../libraries)
