How to program STM8 MCU with ST-LINK/V2-ISOL using an USB-over-Ethernet adapter (Eltima driver)

Hi everyone,

we are using a device called "Helmholz REX 100 WAN" which supports USB-over-IP over its VPN-tunnel. It needs an Eltima windows driver on the client computer.

I'm trying to get the ST-LINK/V2-ISOL working so that I can programm an STM8 remotely, but on the client the ST-Link is not recognized.

When I plug in the programmer into the client computer directly it is recognized and I can programm the MCU.

Has anyone any hints to get this running or knows an alternative sollution (securely remote-programming a STM8)?
