I need to program the ST8L101F3P6 with ST viual

hi,

       I am using ST8l101F3P6 microcontroller.

I have used ST Visual develop with Cosmic compiler.

I Programmed and compiled successfully.but I can not Program the controller with ST visual programmer..

when I try to program it asks to check the connections even though connections are made it correctly .

if I choose Tools > Programmer in STVD,IDE is automatically closed.

kindly share with solution.

I am using STVP with STLINKV2 to program STM8S003F3 and it is working. Connected ports are SWIM, NRST, VCC, GND. The only thing i couldn't solve , STVP not releasing NRST line after program. So every time i need to close STVP to run the chip. All these lines connected to STLINKV2 directly. I mean no pullups or pulldowns, no additional resistors etc.

But i have another question for you. How did you get Cosmic compiler? Their download link not working.

cosmic compiler can be downloaded from ST website itself.

I couldn't find it. It is redirecting to cosmic web page which is not working anymore.

I found the cosmic compiler and tried your case. One thing is same. If i try to run programmer from STVD , it is giving "Out of memory" error and closing. Sometime not even showing the error and just closing. I couldn't find solution for this.

If i use programmer separately , it is working.
