AN2957 is specifically for RC5 IR transmitter. I need implementation support for Reciver/Detector using STM8 series of MCUs.
There is AN3174 which has the basics of RC5 but the implementation is focussed on STM32 series.
ST is not providing an example or appnotes for a RC5 IR receiver running on STM8, but you can check out implementations on the internet, e.g. the Infrared-Multiprotocol-Decoder IRMP. We would be delighted if you would share your experiences with us here.
