Did you ever tried it? :D It will generate exactly 0 lines of code :)))) It is just a MCu selection tool + you can define pins, clock and that's it. Oly one good thing is that it has not the horrible interface we have on STM32CubeMX 5 ("piece of junk" edition).

I don't understand what is the purpose of STM8Cube tool, it doesn't fulfill any purpose.

Many other Chip provider provides code generator for faster development, why can't ST provide something similar
