Can you help me  - when I build example stm8l discoevry. dev  - linker returns error:

Running Linker

clnk -l''C:\Program Files\COSMIC\CXSTM8_32K\Lib''  -o Debug\discover.sm8 -fakeSemiAutoGen -mDebug\discover.map Debug\discover.lkf

clnk: unknown option -fakeSemiAutoGen

 The command: ''clnk -l''C:\Program Files\COSMIC\CXSTM8_32K\Lib''  -o Debug\discover.sm8 -fakeSemiAutoGen -mDebug\discover.map Debug\discover.lkf '' has failed, the returned value is: 1

exit code=1.

discover.elf - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)

Where can be my problem?

Thamks,

fj

    Hi John,

I think this error is related to the license file from Cosmic. Do you have the license.lic file for the 32K free version?

    Regards,

    Joan

    Hi John,

In the STVD project settings, select your Cosmic license path (probably the 16K) by browsing the good root patch : C:\Program Files\COSMIC\CXSTM8_16K.

The priginal project workspace has probably been saved with 32K license settingd.

    best regards

    Dear stefast,

first - thanks for your answer!, but mypoblem is not solved.

I have licensed both 16k+32k Cosmic. (when I do change to 16k, linker send the same error....

Have you any other idea how solve my problem, please ?

(I have not worked on STM8L some time, because there were many other projects... and now I can not start work  again...)

    Best regards,
