MCU Proposal

I am looking for STM32 series product for my Automotive Meter customer.

Required spec: 16KB/2KB, 16MHz, 2.7V to 5.5V, VQFN, -40°C to +125°C

Application: Automotive meter

I checked below ST link, and it seems that below links are OK (?) to meet above requirements?

Or do you have a better solution/proposal?

    No, it does not.

The STM8 is a totally different architecture, and not related to Cortex M or STM32.

However, you are free to go for a STM8 instead, just take the software support (development, programming, debugging) into consideration.

Neither the STM8L series nor STM32 work with 5V supply voltage.

To original post said "2.7V to 5.5V", so I assumed the 3.3V of the STM32 are fine.

There are, however, Cortex M families that work with 5V, like the Fujitsu/Spansion/Cypress MB9 devices.
