Program STM8 flash

Can I use "STM32 ST-Link Utility" or "STM32CubeProgrammer" to program STM8MCU flash?

If using "STVP", can it automatically detect the STM8MCU type? or require to configure "STVP" for the MCU type to be programmed.

As can be seen from the name, STM32 ST-Link Utility and STM32CubeProgrammer can only be used for STM32.

STVP cannot automatically determine the target MCU, so it must always be specified.

STLINK V2 is hardware and stlink utility is older type programe uploader software and stm32cubeprogrammer also same category. i think though i am not sure that it can't programe stm8 series . please provide what is the reason that it cant programe stm8 series MCU. i have brought STlink-V3MODs . can it programe and debug using STdv ide  to stm8s? if not then what to use to programe and debug stm8 MCU.
