Hi Franz,

Have a look at the option bytes specifically the AFR bits.

I found the AFR2 bit in the small documentation of uP

Here the instruction for all with same problem:

ST Visual Develop --> Tools --> Programmer --> Option Byte --> set option with right mouse button

Register Program Start must be pressed.

Finish and it works.

               I am new to STM8. Are you using IAR workbench for development??? If yes, where to find libraries for STM8AF5288TA.
