Are there any plans to make STM8 series chips possible in STM32cubeide?

    I haven't heard of any plans for that so it seems unlikely to be supported in a future release.

    Hi !

    I'd also like to know why CubeIDE doesn't support STM8 MCUs.....?

    I'm working on a Mac and wasn't able to install STM8CubeMX anymore (although I still have a pretty old version of MacOs running - High Sierra)...and would be happy being able to have such a comfortable and complete IDE solution for smaller embedded systems projects which don't need the STM32 speed and features....
