There could be few possible root causes.

Let's start from the most probable one, related to .wed and .wdb extension files located in project directory or STVD generic folder installation C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\st_toolset\stvd including default.wed and default.wdb files.

Check for read only properties (and unselect read only feature) or simply remove all these 4 files (2 from the project folder and the 2 others from the installation one) and restart STVD software.

Those files will be created again by the application (only the last project appearance is lost, other project features are not impacted).
