    Try to wrap piece of code to debug with DisableInterrupts() - EnableInterrupts(). Step by step execution works fine when interrupts are disabled. That's why some part of your code works, and some did not. Sorry if my answer is little late.

    If my memory does not fail me, I tested this option, but declined it. I reported this problem to IAR but it will take a few year to fix that (-: 

    This is unbelievable, so basic feature in a modern IDE does not work properly in company like IAR !
