use rs232 uart with stm8l discovery board

Hi,

I would like to use the uart device of the stm8l chip on the stm8l discovery board.

I notice that uart and cristal are shared on the same pins (PA2 and PA3)

Do you think it is possible to use the uart when the stm8l is working with the 32khz oscillator or on the internal 16 Mhz internal RC ?

I don't care of the speed RS232 speed, even 300 bauds is fine for me,

Hi Just use alternate function on other pins. you can get the alternate function pins from the stm8l's datasheet.
