    Hello,

Here are some information between Independent watchdog IWDG and Window watchdog WWDG:

    - Independent WD is basically a 8-bit down counter that you presets at the start of the application and regularly refreshes before it reaches 0 value that will start IWDG reset. The timeout can be adjusted from 60µs to 1s. You can refresh it at any time you want on the opposite of WWDG.

    - Window WD must be refreshed during a time limited window, not before and not after this window. It can detect early or late application behavior. Its timeout can be adjusted between 75µs up to 64ms.

For more information, please read in details the device reference manual.

    Regards.
