Hi,I work with the Nucleo-L476RG and the X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1 (BlueNRG2) and I would like to pair and bond this device to a Nordic nrf52840.I followed the programming guideline and succeed to have a bond the devices. The BlueNRG2 is central and the Nordic is peripheral.My problem is when I reconnect the devices, I have to start encryption with the "hci_le_start_encryption" function but I don't know how can I get the parameters needed for this function (i.e Random_Number, Encrypted_Diversifier, Long_Term_Key) which are used for the first pairing.I tried to get the LTK with:aci_hal_read_config_data(CONFIG_DATA_ER_OFFSET, &ltk_len, long_term_key);But I am not sure this is the good way.And I have no idea how can I get the encryption diversifier.Thank you for your help.

I have BlueNrg2N chip in advertising mode and I sometimes have a situation that chip stops advertising on it own and aci_hal_link_status function returns 255 (all status bits are set). Maybe someone have any idea what does it mean and why it happens.

HiIs it possible to use the STUSB4710 without the VBUS_EN_SRC switch? In such a way the the VBUS is always sourced from the supply side.I expected this to work, but when I tried it on the STUSB4710A evaluation module, it seems it will not set any PDO's.Any way to get it to work, or am I forced to use this switch?The external Discharge I have understood is not mandatory, as there is an internal one, right?This is for a DFP only application.Thanks, Thomas Nilsson

Hello,I just got a STEVAL-ISC004V1 kit for evaluating the STUSB-4710 in a USB-PD Application.As described in the manual I connected it to a 24V power supply and connected it to the Nucleo F072RB and the corresponding GUI. I can access the device and read the NVM. When I connect a PD-compliant smartphone or laptop the green LED on the board keeps blinking and VBus_EN_SRC toggles. The smartphone does not change to charging state and the GUI for STUSB-4710 does not show any further connection info. The dashboard in the GUI is just empty, no errors reported.How to proceed and to debug this issue? Did anyone experience the same issue?Thanks in advance.

I have a BlueNRG-M2SA on a board with an STM32 Host. I can build and load projects onto the BlueNRG M0 using the SWD port with St-Link. Next I tried to use the Bootloader via the Host - I have Host control of the Boot Pin, Reset & Uart.I intended to use the Flasher Utility which I can connect to my Host, and wrote a simple Uart Relay to transparently transfer bytes between the Utility and the M0 via the Host. So the Flasher Utility thinks it is connected directly to the M0.I assert the boot pin high and reset the M0 at the start to put it into Bootloader mode.I tested the relay by using a terminal program to send 0x7F and receive back a 0x79 from the M0 - which is the start of the Bootloader Protocol according to AN4872.However when I use the Flasher Utility it fails with "Auto Baudrate functionality failed" and does not appear to send 0x7F.I note that this version of the Flasher Utility v4.0.0 does not provide the pop upwhereas the previous version, which is no longer available di

We're having some trouble using an ST2378E 8-bit bidirectional level converter on the I²C Bus of a TI MSP430F5359. We operate our MSP430 at 2.5V and use this chip to accommodate the 3.3V connection to TI's EV2400 Battery Gauge programming pod and its 3.3V I²C Bus. With the pod disconnected (i.e., open circuits on the 3.3V side of the level translator, pulled-up by the chip's internal 9KΩ pull-up resistors), we're getting intermittent cross-conduction, at least while the MSP430 is trying to drive I2C SDA low.Here's a 'scope shot of the I²C Bus with the ST2378E disabled by grounding its OE pin:The Yellow trace is an analog representation of SDA and the Blue trace is an analog representation of SCL. Hello,in our application, we are using STEVAL-STLKT01V1 boards.The scenario is made with some of these boards working as server, collecting data from external devices. These servers should connect to an STEVAL-STLKT01V1 working as client and connected to a PC with USB. This client must transfer received data from servers to PC by using the standard USB VCOM driver.I ported the BLE Chat application from BlueNRG DK 2.0.2 to STEVAL-STLKT01V1 and now I'm able to transfer data between client and server.Now I need to expand the existing code for supporting multiple servers, but I'm facing some difficulties. After some researches in the community, I found the existence of BLE_p2pRouter but, from the code that I have found at GITHUB, it does not seem to be possible to port it to STEVAL-STLKT01V1. Is there an example or some guidelines for implementing multiple connection?Sincerely.

We have designed a custom board using BlueNRG-2 and are now working on developing applications on the same. However, the Evaluation Tool Software only consist of BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 DK SW package, which we understand is the package for Development kits. Is Similarly, neither the GUI nor the Navigator can work with custom boards. there no support or resources available for standalone BlueNRG2?Kindly provide some guidance at the earliest.Regards

I currently have X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 expansion board and have no problem to program it using STM32 Nucleo board in coprocessor mode, but there seems to be no information about "stand alone" programming. What software should I use to develop applications in standalone processor mode?

I am trying to use S2LP in UART OTA mode. It works well when I trasmit and receive via GPIO pins. But when I transmit via FIFO, S2LP does not add start and stop bits as it supposed to. According to S2LP datasheet rev.7 clause 7.4: "When this format is selected, a start bit and a stop bit can be programmed to be added to each byte of the TX FIFO". Hello,I am playing with the EVAL boardEVAL-SCS001V1, NUCLEO board, and the STSW-STUSB002 GUI software. I am using the PD SOURCE as Globetek Power Module(RR9LZ3000USBCG2(R6B)) , It is generating 20V output voltage at the EVAL board terminal block J10.Now I would like to change this voltage to 12V, I am thinking I should change PDO3 setting.I read the contents of PDO3 (REG. 0x8D – 0x90) as 0x00064064 (Reg 8D value is 0x64 just to clarify the order),So I changed the PDO3 contents to 0x0003C064, and verified the write operation by reading back the contents. I am using the GUI software READ/WRITE I2C Data TAB to alter the contents.Then I saved hit the GUI software button by pressing “Write NV RAM�?, I got a message saying Write success.Then I recycled the power to everything, but I am still getting the 20V output and PDO3 setting went back to 20V.I am not really sure what I am missing here, please advise.Thanks,Naga.

Hi,We would like to use USB Type C PD chip for Data role or Power role swap functionality.We are designing the android accessory using type c connector.We would like to keep our accessory in Device mode and also want to do the charging of smartphone through type c connector.Can you please suggest the chip which is required minimum firmware application and we can put the accessory in device mode with source power to smartphone ?

I want to access the eeprom information and later to store some information for my project. Information such as ip address, mac address, node id etc. X-NUCLEO-S2915A1 board is connected to Nucleo-L152RE board for my project. Hope someone can share their knowledge on this.

If the STUSB4700 hasn't established a connection with a USB PD sink, can the GPIO pins controlling the feedback resistors still be toggled to provide a desired feedback resistance for a desired regulator output voltage? Is this possible through I2C, or some other method, and if so, how would this be done?I want the regulator accepting the feedback resistance from the STUSB4700 to output 9V or 12V when there is no connection to a sink. Is this possible through I2C, or some other method, and if so, how would this be done? The pass transistor connected to the STUSB4700's VBUS_EN_SRC (pin 20) would be forced on as well.
