Posted on February 19, 2018 at 17:42Hi all,I've tried several time to get in contact with the ST Online Support (http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/online-support.html  and then the Submit Request button)  but every time I've experienced an error into an unknow 'Serena Business Manager Log In ' it give me all time Invalid User ID or Password (note I've did the login to the ST support page with success).I've no idea how to get in contact with the support team then I'm writting here, sorry if this may be not the right place to do that.just to know if others have same trouble or not.Thanks in advance.Best RegardsFabio

I'm interested in integrating multiple ST IMU(6 or 9 axis) sensors to my project. However, all IMUs will be connected in serial to simplify electrical circuit design so each IMU should has its own I2C address. Pls recommend several ST IMUs either 6 or 9 axis so I can test and connect them only by I2C bus. THX!

I would like to change the state of the INT_DRDY of LPS22DF. I have tried to change the value of INT_H_L bit in register CTRL_REG3 (12h), but it has no (immediate) effect. Is it necessary to activate the pin? I have also tried different values in CTRL_REG4 (13h), without effect.Thank you.

The accelerometer seems correct. For a value close to 0, we see the unsigned value close to 0 or very high around 65535 which is what I would expect.The gyroscope values for a zero rate I would expect to also be similar given the datasheet says this "The value is expressed as a 16-bit word in two’s complement"My basic thinking is that these are expressed as a 15-bit word in two's

Hello,I want to use LSM6DSM, so I got the dev-kit and tested it out.Now I decided to use this sensor and was looking for the symbols in Altium, but it is NRND, so I double checked in ST Micro web site if it was NRND, but it is still Active.As I am going to use this sensor now, I would like to make sure of guaranteed longevity. I couldn't find this in the longevity page.   

Hi guys,This has likely been covered before so please feel free to point me to it.I'm trying to set up the LSM6DSOX Pedometer to store count to FIFO, but having no luck.I am not using the Library, as it is not easily ported to my uC.Would anyone be able to highlight for me the registers I need to set up for basic operation, so that I can tinker from there?I have been able to set up the pedometer to interrupt, but not write to FIFO.I'd also be interested in the steps to read from the FIFO, but imagine that this will be easier once I'm writing correctly..Thanks,Ben

I am using the chip ASM330LHH, when I write 0X40 to register 0X10, I can read the value 0X40 that I wrote, but when I write 0X60, I can't read 0X60, what's going on?

Dear SirWe are Interfacing STmicro part no MP23DB01HP which is a MEMS MIC with PDM output. We are interfacing this MIC with STM32F105RB microcontroller as it has I2S port.We are unable to find any library for this and how to calculate all the parameters required. How to convert PDM to PCM in STM32F1.Our main aim is to find DBm of sound level using the MICKindly provide us support as we had already integrated all the hardware and after that its not working  

I am new to a lot of this and could use some help.  I recently started a new job and my first project is reliability for one of our bread and butter products.  I am evaluating better bearings, seals, etc. and am going to use the Proteus mounted on the equipment to monitor motor vibration.  I have everything mounted and I can watch the sensor outputs from the app on my phone but I really need to be able to use the USB connection to connect the Proteus to my laptop so I can log the data.  Is there a desktop program that I am just not seeing?  I can't get my laptop to recognize the Proteus when connected via USB.  I am hoping to only use USB and not the battery.  Is there an expert out there that can give me a hand?  Thank you! 

I tried all 3 available demos: default, FP-AI and Datalogger.At last I flashed the original default demo back. I am conducting research on robot control, and to handle data obtained from the LSM6DS3H embedded in the robot, I want to understand how acceleration and angular velocity are measured. Specifically, I would like to learn about the internal structure of the accelerometer and gyroscope within the LSM6DS3H. Hello  I have my oven custom board in which I used accelerometer (LSM6DSLTR), magnetometer (IIS2MDCTR) and STM32L4 series controller. Initially I tried to get north heading through magnetometer but due to external noise some time I am getting proper north heading but some time getting wrong orientation. I tried soft Iron and hard iron compensation but due to variable soft iron some time I am getting wrong north heading. I was trying to use e-Compass library but still don't get proper orientation. I have following two questions. 1) Can we use e-Compass library for custom board in which LSM6DSLTR accelerometer and IIS2MDCTR magnetometer is used. 2) I am using my custom board in very noisy environment in which standalone magnetometer is not capable to calculate proper north heading. I also used hard iron and soft iron still getting wrong north heading. so is it possible to calculate proper north heading using accelerometer and magnetometer fusion using e-Compass librar

HI,Is there any way to reset SFLP "Game vector" readings at runtime, once SFLP enabled?For instance, after few minutes of SFLP run, it reports (after quaternion to Euler conversion) YAW: 1.5, PITCH: 0.5, ROLL: 0.1. And I'd like to reset Yaw to 0 (zero). Is there any way to do so on chip (manipulating offsets, "soft" algorithm reset etc.)?Surely it is possible to use external matrix to compensate for the above in software but maybe there is some "undocumented" way to ask SFLP to do the same? Thanks

I am trying to get data from ASM330LLHXG1 so first, I decided to try the self test code provided by ST to see whether I can make the sensor work, until the reading of status register it was going okay but no matter how long I wait the status register data ready flag for both gyro, accelerometer, and temperature are all zero. Hi. I'm currently working with the Blue SDK and trying to detect any falls from the SensorTile.Box Pro. The device is able to detect falls, but I am unsure of how to send that data over to my android application. I have a modified BLESensorPnPL demo project calling the BLE_MachineLearningCoreUpdate() function once it detects a free fall. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Also, how does the BLEMLC demo project communicate with the STBLE Sensor Application?

Does the IIS2MDC require burn-in? Using the IIS2MDC, I read a magnetic filed of 0.47 Gauss on a Friday. I read the same result the Monday morning at 10 am. Two hours later, I was reading 0.4 Gauss magnitude. The individual axes were also quite different, which caused heading deviations beyond acceptable levels. My reference magnetometer did not show any variations during this time. In addition, temperature varied by < 1 deg Celsius, from 25.6 C to 24.8 C. I am trying to determine why only the IIS2MDC had so much variation in such a short period of time.

Hello,I am using the LSM6DSOX IMU to detect a double tap. The IMU is connected to SPI1 of a STM32U5 and the INT1 pin is connected to a GPIO (PB2) of the STM32U5 configured as external interrupt.Sometimes the double tap detection works correctly but suddently the INT1 pin is not triggered anymore even though a double tap is performed.At the same time I am also sampling the acceleration from the IMU via SPI and I can see that this still works. Meaning that the IMU is still working. I also have a SD card connected on SDMMC1 and I notice that when I write data on the SD card periodically, at some point the INT1 pin stops triggering. When I don't write any data, the INT1 pin works as intended.Do you have any idea why the INT1 pin is not triggered anymore? I checked the level of the INT1 pin with a logic analyser and I see that it stays low, meaning that the issue comes from the IMU and not the STM32U5. However, I can confidently say that the INT1 pin not triggering is linked

Hi,I am using h3lis331dl accelerometer with imx8mp and also using the default st_accel and st_accel_i2c drivers in Linux. Most of the part works correctly. I am using udevadm to monitor the trigger in C# code./bin/udevadm monitor iio:device0This works when I manually trigger with the command "sudo udevadm trigger /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device0"Is it the right way to monitor the trigger/interrupt?Also, in_accel_*_raw and in_accel_*_scale files are available in /sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device0 directory. I am using the FP-IND-PREDMNT1 STM32Cube function pack for predictive maintenance in STEVAL-STWINCSV1 board, which performs vibration analysis using a 3-axis accelerometer (3 DoF). My use case involves motor vibration analysis. Would it be beneficial to use 6 DoF or 9 DoF data for more effective monitoring?
