Hi all!I have a problem with transmition/receiving more than 8 bytes of data between two STM32 MCUs via CAN-Network.I know, it is impossible to transmit more than 8 bytes of data via basic CAN Bus.I tried to create Command messages System.CAN Master transmit to CAN Slave command message "RT" (aka "Read Temperatures") and CAN Slave reply 'T' and 7 bytes of data with Temperature values. At that level it is all fine. CAN Master transmitting and then receiving the values. Then CAN Master transmits next command message"RP" (aka "Read Pressures") and CAN Slave reply 'P' and 7 bytes of data with Pressure Values. CAN Master, continuously transmitting each command after receiving values from previous command.At that point starts the problem.The values are overlapping with each other.I have a question, is anybody had experience with transmitting/receiving more than 8 bytes of data via basic CAN Bus? Hi,I developed an application that uses an STM32L452 and MP34DT06J, with SPI and DMA. I don't have an external clock on the MCU so I'm using the internal one. Regarding the storage, I'm using an external Micro SD driven with SDMMC.Since I've more sensors acquiring at the same time, for me it's extremely important to know the exact frequency of the signals since it can lead to a misalignment of the signals. When I was recording sound with my application and comparing it with my smartphone, I found that the sampling frequency isn't exactly 16kHz. So the questions are:How can I find the exact frequency?Does the internal clock allow me to have a constant sampling frequency, with drift over time?Best Regards

HI, I am trying to develop a application with a accelerometer over 5kHz.I have some samples of LIS3DH. Does exits any repository of mem senc?I search in cubemx but is not there.I can write the library from datasheet but it is a lot of time and it will not be mantain.do you know if other device in cubemx or in c official library is supported by st?I am interested on fifo DMA transfer by I2c .Thanks fot all, tcg

I understand that within the datasheet for the VL53L4CD, there is the ULD that is meant to be used instead of referencing the sensors registers directly with the STM32CubeIDE software.I have download the ULD software for the VL53L4CD (STSW-IMG026) and I am unsure how to implement it within STMCubeIDE (where the files need to go).I have also downloaded the X-CUBE-TOF1 software though STMCubeMX. Which allows me to select the NUCLEO-L031K6 board, VL53L4CD sensor and setup before generating the code. Is this the correct way of using the sensor and board?

Hi,(Since i am not a native speaker i apologize in advance for any mistake i would make.)I am curently working on a project that require an acelerometer.For my tests, i am working with a NUCLEO-WB55RG and an eval board STEVAL-MKI208V1K. They are connected together through SPI1 like follows:Nucleo ---> Eval Board(SCK) PA5 [D13] ---> SCL(MISO) PA6 [D12] ---> SDA (MOSI) PA7 [D11] ---> SDO(CS) GND ---> CSWhen i check the levels i can see that the chip select is somehow at 3.3V ! Is there a register to parameter or something to do to specify that i don't want to use the chip in I2C but in SPI (and so put the CS to ground level).Thank you in advance ,Noé.

Is there anyway to port the libGesturesMZ.a library to RISC-V or provide source code for this? Currently only can be used with Arm Cortex chips and we want to be able to use the VL53L5 sensor with Risc-V chip the standard code to operate VL53L5 is processor agnostic, but the library to power gesture control is not. Let me know best path forward. Thanks

It is possible to apply the same workflow to LSM6DSOX as show in the video "Arduino tutorial: using Arduino Nano RP2040 with our new LSM6DSOX inertial sensor with embedded AI", but with a ESP32 and a external sensor board like adafruit 4438 ?

Hi!I'm trying to get an SPH0645 microphone to send sound data to my STM32F411 with HAL_I2S_Receive(), but the data I receive is not correct. I am trying to read a square wave, or rather I am trying to detect when a square wave is falling using the Nucleo-F746ZG board. Using CMSIS v2, using STMCubeIDE 10.1The square wave comes from a flow sensor, and every time it goes from high to low an interrupt is supposed to increment a value within the program.in the .ioc file I have set up a pin and an interrupt, the pin is called FLOW_SENSOR_Pin, and the interrupt is called FLOW_SENSOR_EXTI_IRQn. For reference the pin is the PG3 pin. I have checked the signal with an oscilloscope and the sensor works as intended. The code compiles and is downloaded to the board without problems, though the interrupt never seems to trigger. I have attached the relevant files for the problem.Below is the init function for the flow sensor thread. Hi,I'm facing several problems while using the MEMS1 package. I have designed a custom board with the L552 mcu and LSM6DSO32 and LIS3MDL sensors on the same SPI bus. The board has a WiFi connectivity, an SD card and a plethora of user IO. The firmware is written in C++ (no STL, no RTTI, no exceptions) and uses ThreadX. All of the ThreadX functionalities are wrapped into thin classes. My goal is to estimate a 3D orientation using MotionFX. I'm also using MotionMC and MotionAC and the results of calibration are stored on the SD card. I'm using the latest CubeIDE.My first problem is that I'm forced to use XCUBE-MEMS1 v9.3.0. When I try to use the v9.4.0 I get several Multiple definition of ***. First defined in YYY. problems. Simply put, when using 9.4.0 I cannot link multiple MEMS1 packages into a single project.I was not able to pass the Accelerometer calibration (MotionAC) in dynamic mode. I have two vl53l1x sensors. At first they were working coorectly. But after a while the first one gives right distance but the second one started to doesn't give right distance after 40cm. its regulators output is 3.3V. here is the vl53l1x code that I used. Is there a possibility that the second vl53l1x is corrupt or how could it be corrupted?If it is corrupt, why can it read up to 40cm?

I can load the board correctly with *setdb227A, but from there I'm a little lost as to what commands I need to enter to get acc, gyro, a Qvar data. I've tried using *rAA, but that returns an empty value.Is there a list of commands I can use to access the board from tera term?

Hi to all, I would use accelerometer LIS3DSH for seismic purposes.I have these 2 questions:1) is there available equivalent accelerometer model (including digital and analog internal filters) for Matlab simulations?I need this for displacement/velocity compensation.2) on datasheet it's reported typical noise spectral density (150 ug/Hz) at 100 Hz data rate, are there available noise values for different ODR?Thanks.

Hi!Me and my team are currently working on project which include LSM6DSO32 sensor. There's two parameters that don't seem to be listed in datasheet or application note:1) Data latency [ms] - time between the moment the sensors are sampled and the moment the IMU starts transmitting the frame with those sensor data2) g-sensitivity or linear acceleration effect [deg/hr/g] - how much linear accelerations affect readings from gyroscopesDo anyone have found that information in documentation or maybe measured it somehow?

1) Here is the picture of the device marking of incoming chip. Could you explain what each line means? The datasheet of ISM9DS0TR does not have any related info. This is holding our incoming quality check. 2) When was ISM9DS0TR EOL? Thanks much!​

Enabling "step counter detection" on lsm6dsr using the application note [1] "basic SW routine" does not seem to work (1-13 routine steps). Device always reads the value: 2C00h from registers 62h and 63h.
