Hi, I am trying to build 9 dof imu using LSM6DSO and LIS3MDL, using i2c to write and read lsm6dso and lis3mdl. I am testing the ICs in Raspberry Pi MCU. I am also using sensor hub on LSM6DSO to read/write LIS3MDL.I have two questions that I need help with:1. My first prototype, which combines the two ICs on one pcb in mode 2 (CS pins tied high to VDD_IO) and uses caps and res as illustrated in their datasheets, with no pull up resistors in between SDA and SCL lines connecting LSM6DSO's SDx and SCx pins to LIS3MDL's SDA and SCL pins, returned different LIS3MDL whoami value every time I ran script using lis3mdl_device_id_get() (ex. 0xBF, 0xB2, 0x89, 0x88, 0xF2, 0xB8, 0xC0 and more other random combinations that I don't see on LIS3MDL's datasheet nor any other hex I see on its .c or .h files on github). LSM6DSO always returned 0x6C, which is correct according to the driver on github, as its whoami, and read accel and gyro data properly. I am thinking either LIS3MDL soldering was faulty or

Hello,So it seems like the software package X-CUBE-LED12A1, which is essentially a basic C driver for (some) of the dev kits, contains no support for uploading, downloading, starting or stopping execution of scripts. The commands are present in bridge.h, but not actually implemented in what looks to be an old release of the software.uBasic scripts is one of the advertised features of the LED1202, and you can do it through the windows application and the closed source binary firmware for the L0/L4/F4 found here.I have no proof, but it appears the scripts are converted into i2c commands on the STM32.Can someone at ST update the latest source: https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-led12a1.html#st-get-software or provide a link to source in https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-lll007v1.html#tools-softwareWithout the source, I cannot use the uBasic functionality on the project.

Hi there,I'm currently working on a Boundary Scan project with an old ST2165A device. According the BSDL alle DDR-Ports can only be used as output pins (even the data sginals). This of course rules out any DDR memory test being perfomed by Boundary Scan.Am I missing an additional setup routine to make those ports bidrectional or are they really just usable as outputs?Thanks!

Hi experts, we are developing with ST M24C64-R EEPROM，and take FPGA chip as a IIC controller. we just implement a byte write and  Random Address Read for test. Both the simulation tool(with ST "M24XXX_Memory.v" verilog module) and oscilloscope wave shows that EEPROM ACK action is not totally matching our understanding. We take a picture attached to illustrate. We want to know what is presice timing defination as "9th clock pulse period"? We do not think it is proper to define a clock period at rising/falling edge of SCL(because it may trigger Start/Stop action). But it seems M24C64 EEPROM ACK at the falling edge of SCL.(?) Could you kindly help to check our understanding ? THANKS.

But in actual design process, there are some options cannot clear on the reference schematic. I am trying to flash a new bootloader to a bigtreetech SKR V1.4 on a 3D printer using a ST-Link V2 STM8/32 and the STM32 ST-Link utility softwareWhen connecting the link to the USB, the power light only lights up on the SKR V1.4 motherboard.On teh utility app, when trying  to "connect to target" I get an error saying it cannot connect and if I am trying to connect to an STM32W1xx device I should select "normal" or "Hotplug" but yet when I do this, I get the same error, saying I should use "connect under reset"I have triple checked the connections between the link and the SKR V1.4 motherboard and the wire connections all seem to be correct.I have connected 5 jumper cables: RST, SWDio, gnd, SWClk and 3.3VI assume the following has something to do with the error but still need help.As can be seen in the attached screen capture, the "target" is returning a blank field, which says to me the st-link is not connecting with the 3d printer motherboard.Please assist with a solution if you c

I am working on building a BMS using L9961 IC, based on a research I figured out that in case of fast charging it is suggested to add two or more power MOSFET gates in parallel as seen in the figure below to reduce temperature rise and ensure reliable operation of the power MOSFET. Hi, I'm working on a pcb for a student designed 3U CubeSat. We are looking at using your s2-lp transceiver. In the datasheet you include an application diagram, however the components are not given any values. Are you able to provide the capacitor and inductor values for this circuit at 433MHz? Hi community I am working with gate driver vnd7020.I have already implemented the reading of the current (I) for both 2 oyputs and temperature for every chipNow i want to implement the self diagnostic from the driver.I want to detect the overload and undervoltage condition. What is nopt clear is what i have to expect to have from the adc reading in both the conditions ()if i understand correctly if i read the adc in the same case as i am reading the current if i find VsenseH that means that has been the overload condintion? So this means that when i read the adc value from the mcu i should expect 0 or 4096 (max range for my adc)??Another question is about how to simulate this condition in the gate driver without doing an overload.. Thanks a lot for the answer
