I am attempting to use the ST25R3911B-DISCO plugged into Android and I am wondering if this is possible. Right now, I am using the ST25AndroidDemoApp with Android Studio and I am able to use NFC from my android tablet and find a ST25 tag. My end goal is instead of using the NFC of my android tablet, I want to try and use the NFC from the ST25R3911B-DISCO which would be connected to the android tablet through USB. Is this possible, and if so, how might I go about implementing this?

I want to use the EH pin of ST25DV to obtain energy through RF and power supply data transmission for low-power MCU (stm32L4). Can this scheme be realized? What should I do?

There is this Android SDK (Java) for ST25 Development Kit (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-st25sdk001.html), but I am looking for an ST25 SDK For iOS (Swift/Objective-C) So that I can use the SDK in my Flutter Application Plugin. Back then when I asked, the answer only tells me the iOS Application Source Code, not the iOS SDK (https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/st25dv-sdk-for-flutter-s-ios-swift-objective-c/m-p/587701#M9247). So then, is there any iOS ST25 SDK? Thanks before!

I need to use NFC07A1 to power STM32l476RG, but the PIN 4 connecting CN6 according to the instructions failed to make the MCU run. I tried to write the LD2 flicker program, but the NFC power did not make the LD2 flicker after the USB power failure. But the LD3 power indicator of my L4 was already on, so why didn't I succeed in getting the MCU wirelessly powered? According to the instructions I find that the LD3 works as long as it is successfully lit. What do I need to do to make the EH output pin power the L4 operation?

Hey, for Bluetooth connection through the NFC tag I have given my Bluetooth mac address in the firmware code of the board, and now when I read the board through NFC-enabled mobile, it is pairing with my mobile, whose mac address is given into the firmware board, but it is not getting connected automatically. Can anyone help with this problem and give me a solution? I'm using a DLP-RID2 device to write and read data in a ISO 15693 TAG, in particular i'm using tags based on the ST25TV02KC which have 320 bytes of information arranged in 80 blocks of 4 bytes each.My problem is that with a new factory TAG, i can't read block 50, and read/write operations don't works. Do you have any suggestions for any commands to use to be able to use all 80 blocks?I attach a log that illustrates the commands sent for a readBest regards

Hey I am using ST25DV64KC-DISCO discovery board  for my project  where I want NFC enabled mobile to connect with my given mac address and don't want  other NFC  tag writer apps to  writing   on my NFC antenna board   is that possible  with this tag or did you guys have other tags which have better encrypted tags which we can use so that no one can change its memory content like given mac address of the Bluetooth in the tag please suggest

Hi,This is my first post in the ST Community.  We bought an evaluation board for the 25R3916B reader chip. It successfully reads tags when working on its own as we can clearly see on the local eval board display. We also downloaded the latest PC software from the ST website and the software successfully runs on a PC.We cannot, however, get the eval board to talk to the PC in any way, form or fashion. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?Hanan 

Hi,I have implemented a NFC sniffer for Flipper Zero (with ST25R3916), and I found wrong information in the datasheet regarding the default values of the chip registers (all of them in Space A): Register 0x0c defaults to 0x2d rather than 0x2c as indicated in the datasheet, 0x0f is 0x0c rather than 0x08, 0x29 is 0x60 rather than 0x70, and 0x29 is 0x22 rather than 0x33.This is no problem for my application (3916 is great for sniffing, even without resorting to the Transparent Mode, which is impractical due to Flipper Zero's hardware limitations), but the datasheet should probably be fixed as other developers might be relying on what it says.

Hello every body.I hope you are doing well.We are designing a smart card reader can communicate with java cards both contact and contactless.Our MCU is STM32F405RGT6 and we want to use ST8024L for contact section.For contactless section we decided to use ST25 series.We want to be sure all ST25 can communicate with all java cards and can send/receive APDU commands to/form java card.We want to use the most cost effective ST25 for this purpose, any suggestions please?Best Regards.

Hi When transferring a Type-v signal at 26kbps and at 53kbps, what is the frequency bandwidth/spectrum of these 2 signals? This helps me to set the bandwidth of the baseband amplifier in the reader correctly. Thank you.  

Hi,I'm not able to use the GUI (W7). The DFU driver is not detected and the guidelines to fix it are not clear.At page 5/32 the UM2517 claims:Enter “C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\ST25R3916_Discovery_GUI\Driver�? and install it.But the \Driver folder does not exist at all...Where's this driver? Please, could anyone clarify this?On the other hand the Method 2: ST-Link on next page does not work neither. Any hint?thanks in advance,gaston

Hello everybody, We hope you are doing well.we planned to use ST25R95 chip to create a smart card reader that can communicate with all smart cards and java cards (MIFARE and NFC). we read in ST25R95 datasheet that this chip does not support write action in all standards(ISO/IEC). We know we can use PN512 chip that fulfills all needs we have.Does anyone know PN512 can be replaced by ST25R95?Can we have full read/write access to all tags MIFARE and NFC mode in all standards(ISO/IEC) by using ST25R95?Thanks in advance.Best regards.

Hi everyone,I have just discovered that I have multiple errors when I try to read more than 30 blocks, rfalNfcvPollerReadMultipleBlocks() function depending on the number of blocks I try to read.Firstly, I want you to talk about the TAG I am reading: - It is a ST25TV02KC NFC type5 - ISO/IEC 15693 (NFCV) TAG from ST - It has 320 bytes of memory and 4 bytes block-size.- With the Android app ST25 I can read all the blocks correctlyThe behavior I am seeing is the next:- I can read successfully from 1 to 30 blocks. - When I ask for 31 blocks, I get ERR_FRAMING (0x09) error. I don't understand this error... Could you kindly explain it to me, please? I have, also, searched in ST forum for this error, but I haven't seen any solution related to my issue.- When I ask for more than 32 blocks, I get ERR_RF_COLLISION (0x1D) error. Again, I don't understand why I get collision error because I have only one tag in the field of the RFID. Could you explain me this, also, please?Another t

Why did I perform this right shift?I modified the read register function, added a right shift, and successfully read the correct registers. However, my code is now not functioning correctly.What steps should I take to resolve this issue?This version maintains the same information while improving the clarity and correctness of the sentences.

Hello, am using RFID card reader ST25R95 using its stack.     Hello, according to my sketchy investigation, passive NFC tags are not required to do FCC, CE certification, because they have no battery and are activated by radio waves emitted by the reader.This conclusion was drawn by unofficial contents.     I also checked official regulations but found no definite terms that exempt passive NFC tags from these certifications.     I am not sure whether ST25DV-I2C integrated product falls into the category of passive NFC tags and needs FCC, CE, TELEC, CC, SRRC certification. The product(framed in red rectangle) can achieve read/write, NFC charging and OTA upgrade to I2C host.Is this product required to do FCC, CE, TELEC, CC, SRRC certification?Thanks!
