ST25 NFC/RFID tags and readers

Hi, I'm developping an application for Android on VisualStudio with Xamarin.I implemented the ST sdk, interfaces and the « ST driver » Tagdiscovery.But at the execution, In the « PerformTagDiscovery » into TagDiscovery class, the line « tagInfo.nfcTag = new ST25DVTag(readerInterface, uid); » generate an exception : Java.Lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Failed resolution of: Lorg/apache/commons/lang3/BitField;I try to implement manually Commons-Lang from apache on VisualStudio, but not possible, there is many and many error ....Is that a solution ?

Hey Guys,I am trying to use the NFC Tap app to transfer data to an ST25DV device I have here, using the FTM mailbox feature.Mailbox is enabled. I get an error message from the App saying the send had failed.General question: When the App sends over the data to the device, do I have to read it in that moment or in fact, do I have to do anything at all or does the ST25 takes care of this for me and I just need to know when the transfer is over and read the mailbox's content?If there is someone here who is working with this and can shade some light on this for me it would be great. Posted on November 05, 2015 at 08:39I only need to get the UID of a iClass card. According to the IS15693 specification, it is MANDATORY for the card to respond to the INVENTORY command. After the card is detected, I set the chip to this protocol format: 0x01 0x09 0x01 is ISO15693 protocol 0x09 is 26Kbps, Wait for SOF, 100% modulation, Single sub carrier, Append CRC. Then I send the INVENTORY command: 0x26 0x01 0x00        // ISO15693 spec, table 1,5 and 9 0x26 is the flags: Bit 1: Sub-carrier flag = 0 Bit 2: Data rate flag = 1 Bit 3: Inventory flag = 1 Bit 4: Protocol extension = 0 Bit 5:AFI flag = 0 Bit 6: Nb slots flag = 1 Bit 7: Options flag =0 Bit 8: 0 0x01 is the INVENTORY command 0x00 is the length of the mask, no mask used. There is no description of the card emulator function in the datasheet, so I'm not sure if it can be used or not.If possible, can you provide the material in code form?It is implemented with Arduino sketch program. I would like to be able to read the memory content from a mifare and/or Felica tag similar to how the NXP tag detector app on Android does. How would I go about doing that?I have implemented the demo polling example using nfc03a1 and a non st chip over SPI. I am using ST25DV04K Tags, sometimes the NDEF Message gets corrupted.So i can't rewrite an NDEF Message because the tag is not formatted anymore, in Android is no problem, the writendef function reformat the tag, but in ios it's not the case. Is there a solution to reformat the tag from iOS ?

Is it possible to use X-NUCLEO-NFC06A1 with a microchip processor and how would I go about doing so? I have configured all of the pins on the microchip processor but can't seem to find any documentation on how to communicate with the NFC06A1 besides the examples given by ST. I know I need to use SPI and I have the microcontroller configured for SPI but not sure what to do from there.I am very green in the world of electronics and would appreciate any help that can be offered.Thanks in advance, I know the question is broad.

I am expecting an answer from an ISO14443-2 Tag with no CRC set, so I want to disable that check. Currently I am doing a rfalTransceive with the following flags ( (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_TX_AUTO | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_NFCIP1_OFF | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_AGC_ON | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_PAR_TX_AUTO | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_NFCV_FLAG_AUTO \            | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_RX_MANUAL | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_CRC_RX_KEEP | (uint32_t)RFAL_TXRX_FLAGS_PAR_RX_REMV)As a result I get a return value of ERR_CRC but also the expected length and data inside my provided response Memory. Is this expected behavior and I should just ignore the error code or is there a different flag I should use?

Hi,I'm building a mobile application that integrates with ST25DV64KC and M24LR04E-R.The maximum number of blocks is fixed at 256 for a "Read Multiple Blocks" command on a ST25DV64KC chip.The maximum number of blocks is fixed at 32 assuming that they are all located in the same sector for a "Read Multiple Blocks" command on a M24LR04E-R.Is there a command that returns the maximum number of blocks that can be read at one time, or is there a way I can learn which model of chip I'm reading, so that I can read the correct amount of blocks in a "Read Multiple Blocks" command. I can see some NFC Tag applications show an IC type which displays the model but I am unsure as to how to retrieve this information myself. Any help would be gratefully received.Kind Regards, Sam

The function we want is that it automatically recognizes when a small object with an NFC tag is mounted on a device.Thus, We want to have an NFC reader on our device and attach NFC tags to small objects to mount on the device.Is it possible to use ST25R3916B as NFC reader to read Ntag213?If it is possible, how can I get some samples?Best RegardsCho

I had powered VPS_TX of ST25R95 on 5V. So, ideally there should be improvement on the magnetic field as per the calculated data using that calculation tool. But I got adverse effect of it. It can't detect the tag, which works fine on 3.3V VPS_TX supply.

Hello,I've develop a solution that write and verify the content of nfc tag. I'm using the ST25R3911B-DISCO board to do this. The application is fast enought and work fine but, sometime it segfault. (~5/h). It always come after a read instruction (readMultipleBlock or readSingleBlock either). I let you here the call trace.

You're doing a great job.During the CR95HF reader test,The NTGA215 Tag is implemented as memory read/write. We proceeded by referring to the data sheet (61 page - ISO14443-A).Memory Read works normally, but the Memory Write function is not working properly.I'd appreciate it if you could tell me where it went wrong​[Ardiuno Test Log]
