hello everyone, I have a board.STM32F429I DISCO1, the question arose:is it possible to read  the parallel ,  a 16-bit from port(from the input pins) using some external interrupt (for example, using the rising edge of an external-nterrupt), to the DMA , and how to implement this in cubeMX and stm32cubeide .Thank you in advance .

Hello everyone, There are 24pcs WS2813-Mini led on my PCB. I didn't set these with timer. How can I drive the WS2813-Mini led with STM32F103C8T6 in STM32CubeIDE?Thanks.  

For the Nucleo-H755ZI, I use the 'PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY' choice in 'HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply', like: HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY); With this setting, the board works fine and keeps working after flashing.If you choose for example 'PWR_LDO_SUPPLY', you would next un-brick your board, using STM32CubeProgrammer, selecting Mode 'Power Down' and erasing the chip.That way you can flash it again within STM32CubeIDE, after correcting the power setting. Since I can't find the 'PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY' option in STM32CubeMX, I always need to modify it manually.In STM32CubeMX I only find these settings:- PWR_LDO_SUPPLY- PWR_EXTERNAL_SOURCE_SUPPLY- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_LDO- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_LDO- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_EXT_AND_LDO- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_EXT_AND_LDO- PWR_SMPS_1V8_SUPPLIES_EXT- PWR_SMPS_2V5_SUPPLIES_EXTIt seems I'm missing- PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLYDo I overlook some other setting?

Hey everyone, I am working with the ADXL 354 eval board with an STM32H745data sheet ADXL354 : https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/adxl354_adxl355.pdfdata sheet eval boad: https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/user-guides/EVAL-ADXL354-355-UG-1030.pdf I have configured the pin PA0-C for the ADC. I have connected all the pin as indicate in the datasheet (exept the VDDIO and GND of the RANGE and Mode because if i do so, the thing is not working at all) but the output is always the maximum (if my ADC is configured as 8 bit, the accelerometer returns 255)If I move nothing change. So I connected the GND of MODE and RANGE and I have value (again if I connect the VDDIO of RANGE and MODE, it is not working at all) but my acceleremeter become really really hot (not brun but...) Can you help me with that ? Thanks ;)

Hi,I'm using a STLINK-V3MINI with fw: V3J12M3 STM32 Debug+VCP, and there is an issue that i'm not sure if it is by design or a bug.In my design I have SWD and UART pins in separated connectors (both with GND). When the SWD is attached to the CPU, the UART works fine. If I remove the SWD connector the UART stops working (Both TxD and RxD).After some testing I've found out that if Vapp pin is not connected the UART stops working. I don't know if there is somewhere the official schematic for the STLink V3 but looking an unofficial one. It seems that the VCP pins are using regular 3V3 powered pins, so it seems that the UART stops working in the absence of Vapp by firmware control.It that's the case, is there any way to disable this behavior? I'd like to be able to still communicate with my board even if I removed the SWD cable.Thanks, Mauricio

Hey everyone,I want an UART communication between my PC and my STM32H745 Disco board. By default the UART 3 (connected to STLINK connector) is one core M4. My baud rate is 115200. My pins are initialized by default. My main is this :and the hal_uart_transmit function returns HAL_OK.On my computer, with Putty, i can't see the data sent. Can you help me with this ? :)  

 HI STM32 Team, I am currently working in a ethernet based project on STM32-F439ZI Microcontroller and I am looking to transmit 100Mbps which mean 12.5 Mega-Bytes per sec. But practically I can't achieve that speed I was able to achieve 8.2MB per sec. This is because why?. In practically we cannot able to achieve Maximum speed?. What are the possible way to achieve the maximum transmit speed?. I have another doubt, There is any difference between integrated phy and mac microcontroller and only integrated mac and external mac. Dear all,Could not verify ST device!This error popped up suddenly and blocks any progress. I took an older computer and had the same error again.Therefore, I suspected a hardware failure and ordered new adapters and processor boards, but I kept having the same error again.I have upgraded the STM32CubeIDE, the st-link drivers (dpinst_amd64.exe) and st-stlink-server(st-stlink-server.1.1.1-3.msi).The st_link v2 adapter have been upgraded with the latest firmware.Using STM32 Link Utility, I was able to program, verify and run blink applications.I am using BluePills (STM32F103C8) with chinese adapters on a 64 bit Windows 10 machine.Please find below the output produced when starting debugging in STM2CubeIDE using the GDB server in SWD mode.I also selected the OPENOCD debugger, but it also failed, though in a different way.(see below)Does anyone have a suggestion how to proceed on this?Cheers, Paul..........................ST-LINK GDB server.....................STMicroelectronics S

A few months ago I made a post regarding a PCB I designed (see post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PrintedCircuitBoard/comments/1b3wilu/pcb_design_review_request_mq2_gas_sensor/) where I used the STM32F030F4P6 MCU. I planned on boot loading this MCU with the ST-LINK/V2 : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/stmicroelectronics/ST-LINK-V2/2214535 ,6 pin tag connect: https://www.tag-connect.com/product/tc2030-idc-nl and the adaptor for the ST-LINK/V2: https://www.tag-connect.com/product/tc2030-idc-nlThe boatload seems to run successfully by identifying the MCU and saying the file download is complete, but the LED seems to still be flashing orange as if it's trying to complete the upload. I can upload code to the board with the tag connect, although nothing happens after finishing the upload. For reference, I am first writing a simple blink-on blink-off LED program, and the LED doesn't blink (I checked the LED with a multimeter on the board and it does l

Hello dear friends,It's been a week since I worked on the CAN transceiver and couldn't make it work. I have set up the chip rcc, bit rate, and receive interrupt of CAN, set the receive filter, and the receiver id in transmission, with no success. I have used only a single board and connected Tx to Rx (PD0 PD9) through a jumper. I have checked that there no frame on the CAN Analyzer.The code is attached. Hello,I am trying to read multiple ADC channels using DMA. However, I cannot find scan mode configuration and rank selection in settings when I am setting up ADC on this particular board. Is there a way to set thrm up or any other way to read multiple channels at once?

HelloI am using STM32F412G-DISCO board. I am synchronizing 2 timers: TIM3 CH1 as master, and TIM4 as slave. Here is how I configured them:Now I am trying to change TIM3 output compare value and thus the synchronization time, but it doesn't work well.The code:  __HAL_TIM_SET_COMPARE(&htim3,TIM_CHANNEL_1,delayCount+64*5);is anyone have any idea how can I overcome this issue?  

Hallo Community,im using an Nucleo-H723ZG board as an USB Host.im using an basic USB Mouse and the eventcallback funktion to print out the input from th mouse.the problem i have now is that i dont get many of the informations from the mouse like the Vendor IDand others.how can i ensure that i get the VID of the Mouse on my Nucleo.

Hello,I am new on Nucleo-H743ZI2. Im trying to test the ETR mode on TIM2 (PA0), TIM3 (PD2) and TIM4 (PE0). I used the same code and setup for all the 3 timers. But only TIM2 functions properly. TIM3 just can increase once then the CNT will not increase anymore. TIM4 does not have any response on the pulse input, and the CNT does not change at all. I use a jump wire connect the 3.3V to each of the ETR pin to generate the pulse.Can someone guide me what I should do on TIM3 and TIM4? Is there any special setting I need? Hello everyone,I'm facing a perplexing issue with my program getting stuck after a successful upload. The upload process completes without errors (screen remains lit white), but upon running the program, it hangs at  MX_OCTOSPI1_Init() and the screen remains black. Symptoms:Program hangs indefinitely in the OSPI_WaitFlagStateUntilTimeout function.This occurs during initial program execution, before TouchGFX & FreeRTOS starts.The upload itself is successful (white screen persists). Background:This problem recently emerged, and the program was functioning correctly beforehand. I've even tried creating new projects from TouchGFX Designer, but the issue persists.Request for Assistance:I believe the culprit might be the MX25LM51245G_AutoPollingMemReady function, which verifies if the NOR Flash memory (MX25LM51245G) is ready for new commands. I have made a custom board using STM32F2 processor. Project is to charge lithium battery. So I have used STUSB4500 and STC3115 and LTC4054 in my power supply section. I have initiated  communication to STUSB4500 through i2c.I want to know what all registers I need to access. Any example projects available? attached is my power.c file where  I have developed code to initiate communication.
