  Hello STM Community,I am facing a GPIO output issue on the STM32 NUCLEO-WL55JC2 board and would like some clarification.Test case:I am using the following line of code to set a GPIO pin HIGH:  HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_0, GPIO_PIN_SET); // LED ON Observation on different boards: NUCLEO-F446RE:Same code used.GPIO pin goes HIGH correctly.External LED connected to the pin turns ON.Multimeter shows ~3.3 V on the pin. NUCLEO-WL55JC2:Same code used.Code flashes successfully, no errors.GPIO pin does not show any voltage when measured with a multimeter.External LED connected to the same pin does not turn ON.Onboard LEDs (LD1, LD2, LD3) work correctly.GPIO configuration:Pin configured as GPIO Output (Push-Pull) in CubeMX.No alternate function selected.No pull-up or pull-down enabled.Board powered via USB.STM32CubeIDE version: v1.19Key concern:Even after calling HAL_GPIO_WritePin(..., GPIO_PIN_SET), the GPIO pin on NUCLEO-WL55JC2 does not show 3.3 V,

Hello,I want to use the STLink-V3PWR and OpenOCD in SWD mode. I can just use hla_swd as transport and not SWD otherwise I will get the error "Debug adapter doesn't support 'swd' transport". Is there no possibility to use SWD?BR

Hello forum,I'm designing for my company a very-low-cost parallel (10 tap) programming tool for STM32F4 target. The solution identified is an SBC with an isolated usb hub where 10 STLINK-V3MINIE are installed. Actually we've successfully tested this setup in lab, where 10 instances of STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe (pointing each one to one of the 10 different programmers' SNs) are launched via cmd.exe. Every target board is fixtured to the assembly via a bed-of-nails and my actual difficulty is to connect each nails to STLINK-V3MINIE SWD lines: I can't solder directly the nails to the STDC14 cable since I should use the flat from IDC as pigtail and I don't like the ridiculous AWG and, for various reasons, I don't want to customize the STLINK-V3MINIE soldering, e.g., a female header to card-edge pads connector (as I did for my lab tool). Hello STM Community,I am working with the STM32 NUCLEO-WL55JC2 board using STM32CubeIDE v1.19, and I am facing an issue with external GPIO usage.What is working:Project creation, build, and flashing work correctly.Debugging and programming via ST-LINK work without issues.Onboard LEDs (LD1, LD2, LD3) blink correctly using GPIO output configuration.Issue description:When I connect an external LED to any GPIO pin (for example PA5, PB5, or other GPIO pins), the LED does not blink, even though:The firmware is flashed successfully.The GPIO pin is configured as GPIO Output (Push-Pull) in CubeMX.The pin is toggled in the code using HAL_GPIO_TogglePin() / HAL_GPIO_WritePin().Key observation:Onboard LEDs blink as expected.External LEDs do not blink on any GPIO pin I tried.The same GPIO toggle logic works for onboard LEDs but not for externally connected LEDs.Hardware setup:External LED connected to GPIO pin through a 220Ω–330Ω resistorLED cathode connected to GNDBoard powered via USBChecks alrea

I am using STM32H7A3ZIT6Q board. While debugging I am facing an issue like "No ST-Link server detected" and also sometimes it is giving error as "Error in Lanching, Failed to execute MI command". How to solve this issue and why we are facing this issue?

I have ST win BX1 development board and I am using Zephyr RTOS for my development. I am not sure, How can I use the WiFi module on this board.First, the module is connected over SPI and I have tried to send some AT commands but I did not get any response.So, do I need to update firmware first? my answer is no because it comes already with the firmware installed.I tried SPI with CS pin low and WiFi-EN pin High.

Hi everyone,I have developed a software using mbed OS on a Nucleo-144 board (STM32F767ZI), and everything works well.Now, I am powering my board from an external power supply, and I moved the JP3 jumper to VIN position.However, the board is stuck. The program correctly starts only if:the board is connected to the PC through a USBthe reset button is pressedI read several posts, and I tried all the proposed solutions: update the ST-Link firmware, place a jumper between the NRST and 3V3 pins, also removed the SB111 0-ohm resistance between NRST and RST, but nothing works.One interesting thing I have is this: if I manage to start the program (using USB connection or reset button), powering off and on again the board in a very short amount of time make the nucleo works fine. However, if I power it off and wait a few seconds, then the board is stuck again until the reset button is pressed or USB connection provided.Any help on this?Thank you very much.

Hello everyone, my programme on Nucleo-F767ZI do not run when I power ON by external power supply. I force to press reset button or power supply st-link by usb cable.I searched some solutions such as: BOOT0 to GND; or turn on bit POR = 1 in RCC_CSR, but nothing worked. I don't want to use external circuit to reset.Anyone can share with me some useful solutions to solve this issue?

We use a an STM32L4R9-DISCO board to start SW development on a project.We run own OS on the board and integrating the HAL/BSP modules for the board (e.g. STM32CubeL4\Drivers\BSP\STM32L4R9I-Discovery\stm32l4r9i_discovery_io) is not feasible for us.I have basic I2C running (ack from the MFX) but no reaction to any commands, using the registers defined in mfxstm32l152.hI therefore need basic documentation of the MFX_V3 I2C communication for setting up port directions, getting and setting ports.rgds Tage

I try to get the HSE working on a Nucleo-U385RG-Q board by the standard settings in the STM32CubeIDE, but can't get it to work. I changed the default soldering connections per the UM3062 User manual to SB19 and SB21 Off, SB20 Off, SB3 and SB4 On. I monitored the HSE by redirecting it to the MCO pin (PA8 / D7). but got no signal. I monitored other clock signals, like the external LSE and the internal high speed oscillator via the MCO pin and had no problem to get a signal out.Though the Cube's settings should start up the HSE, it didn't, and even when I added a line of code (RCC->CR |= RCC_CR_HSEON;) to enable the HSE oscillator, I did not get anything.I have no problem to get this working on a Nucleo-C092RC board, so I wonder whether there is something wrong with the HSE oscillator on the Nucleo-U385RG-Q or with the soldering settings recommended in the manual.I would appreciate any feedback, because I purchased more than 100 of these boards to use in an experiment, and I

Hello I am currently doing a project where I am using a STM32Nucleo-C092RC to generate a PWM signal the only problem is that my peak to peak voltege is only 160 mV. Is there any way to fix it so it is or is my board broken?

I just bought a NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board and discovered that STLINK-V3EC on it refuses to connect using some USB-A to USB-C cables. It works fine with other similar cables from different vendors. The problem appears to be with cables which provide the default 80uA current on both CC lines. These cables do not work. The ones which have only one CC line connected work fine. The cables which do not work, never gave me any problems with any other USB-C device (e.g. with STLINK-V3MINIE). I am not sure if having both CC lines powered is against the USB-C spec - it seem a bit of a grey area to me. But there seems to be quite a few cables doing it out there. Greetings, I know how to solve it , but I do want to reseach on this issue. I use a nucleo's stlink (nucleo F070RB) to program a stm32g030k8tx. However, the target is only detected and, therefore programmed, when the external mcu is not on standby mode. Could it be becasue I do not use the NRST on the SWD? I just use Software Reset, instead.  Thanks.

hey all, i'm working on a team where most people have little experience with stm32s, and we've designed and manufactured our first board with the STM32H7S3I8T6 chip. we followed the data sheet extensively and did a decent amount of research on peripheral values, and after soldering the chip onto the board we checked that all soldered connections were good (especially D+ and D- on the USB bus). some observations: 1. we tried to first use the USB DFU method using the STM32Cube Programmer, but when plugging the board into the computer, no new usb connection is detected (when holding down boot button to set BOOT0 high). 2. we tried using an ST-link module from a Nucleo board to program the board with SWD, but similarly, no device was detected when programming. 3. when checking the D+, D-, and LSE/HSE oscillator data lines, probing them using an oscilloscope results in no signal / very weak noise. i'll attach our schematic for the chip, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. curr

I have an STM32H747I-DISCO board that I am trying to bring up with the Tutti Frutti Demo.   I have followed the instructions in UM3008 to program this as it appeared to be blank upon arrival from Digikey.    External loader was set to:  MT25TL01G_STM32H747I-DISCOProgramming of CM4 with intflash.hex and CM7 with target.hex completed successfully.After programming, the board does not display anything and LD10 just flashes red a couple of times and then pauses on green then repeats.Power LED is good (green). I am not familiar with these development tools so it is likely I'm missing something but whatever it is is not clear to me.I have tried resetting both through STM32CubeProgrammer (V2.21.0) as well as hard reset on the board.Power cycling the board does not help.     LD10 just solid red until I connect up STM32CubeProgrammer at which point it cycles between green and red as described above.    I have seen this is a common issu

I have managed to create a template application on a NUCLEO-H755 that has several CM7 FreeRTOS tasks running to flash various LED patterns combined with a CM4 application that flashes one of the other LEDs.  I have mainly been testing using a run configuration (with LEDs to verify behavior), but sometimes a debug configuration, and when working, the program behaves well and runs overnight.  Flashing and starting the code has always been somewhat questionable (likely due to my inexperience with STM32CodeIDE (V 1.19)), but recently I am no longer able to successfully Run or Debug at all.The current behavior is as follows:1) The first time I try to Debug (or Run), I get a "Failed to execute MI Command" with the error indicating failure to finish loading the flash for the CM7.elf.2) The second time I try the same Debug or Run command, I get a "Failed to Start the GDB server", and I am not able to communicate with the ST-Link on the NUCLEO at all.3) The only way that I have been a

Hi, I am working on the STM32N6570-DK board using the Load & Run boot mode.XSPI2 is used to interface the external flash (boot device).XSPI1 is used to interface an external PSRAM.The FSBL is loaded by BootROM and runs from internal SRAM.The FSBL initializes both XSPI2 (for reading the application image) and XSPI1 (for PSRAM).The FSBL copies the application into internal RAM, deinitializes the peripherals, and jumps to the application.Everything works correctly after a power-on sequence (disconnecting and reconnecting board power).However, after any system reset, either by:pressing the reset button on the board, orcalling NVIC_SystemReset() in firmwarethe device does not boot up again and it seems that the FSBL never starts.If the FSBL only initializes XSPI2 (and does not touch XSPI1 at all), the board boots correctly after both power-on and any kind of system reset. I am using STM32Cube FW_N6 V1.2.0 and STM32CubeMx v 6.15.0.
