Hello Having real issues with the I2C DMA HAL code ???Is it buggy.... very likely from what i'm reading on the web or is there something I am not understanding ??I'm simply trying to read data back from a i2c flow sensor with minimal interruption to the processor thus why trying to use HAL I2C DMAwhen I use use NON DMA I2C code everything is great and works wellHAL_I2C_Master_Receive( &hi2c1, Sensor_Adr << 1 | 0x01, I2C1_DATA , 9, HAL_MAX_DELAY ); Yet when I use the HAL I2C DMA code its broken ????HAL_I2C_Master_Receive_DMA( &hi2c1, Sensor_Adr << 1 | 0x01 , I2C1_DATA, 9);this should work the same way the non DMA code work, but using the DMA hardware, but we can see it does not.... we can see it starts to initiate a DMA I2C session, but stops after dropping SDA & SCL line why ??????It should continue to read back the data from the sensor the same way the Non DMA I2C code does. ??Can someone please help and advise as I am totally lost, what am I missing

Can anyone tell me or direct me to a source that shows the minimum connections needed to power up and serially program a STM32F765ZGT6? (144 pin package.) I will be attaching the chip to a breakout board and will be using a St-Link Minie3.  Any help much appreciated.

Hi! I'm working on a Power Delivery Sink using an STM32G484RETx MCU. I managed to get SPR Power Delivery working without any issues, but I'm having trouble handling the EPR handshake.I'm using the latest USB-PD library from ST's GitHub:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/stm32-mw-usbpd-coreI can successfully enter EPR Mode, but the PD stack automatically calls Evaluate Capabilities and sends an SPR Request (Data Object[2] == 0). I can’t find any option to prevent the stack from running Evaluate Capabilities when Extended PDOs are received from the source.I’ve read @FBL's post on the ST Community, which states that the latest stack should support EPR:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-embedded-software/update-about-usb-pd-stack-to-support-epr-mode/td-p/829168Do you have any solutions or examples that show how to properly handle EPR using the ST USB-PD stack? In the second screenshot, you can see that the stack incorrectly sends an EPR Request (Data Object[2] = 00000000h)

I have swapped from a custom PCB-board with a 6-layer stack using a STM32H725IGKB, to another custom board with a 4-layer stack using STM32H723ZGT6 (simpler package).I am using an external OCTO SPI on both boards, but I have R/W errors with the 4-layer board.Both boards are routed with 50 ohms impedance and uses 33 ohms series resistors for the OCTO SPI.I am wondering if the output impedance is the same for these two H7-devices?

Hello everybody,I am trying to synchronize the ADC1 and ADC2 to work with center-aligned PWM signals in dual-simultaneous regular mode using DMA. My setup:PWM frequency: 5.2 kHZADC conversion frequency: 104/2 = 52 MHZIf I have 3 conversions per ADC with every single one lasting 2.5 cycles, according to the reference manual:One conversion : (2.5 + 12.5)*19ns = 285 nsThree conversions: 285*3 = 855 nsThe problem is when I hook up oscilloscope I see that I am getting 8.2us until I reach my interrupt routine which is much longer than expected. I want to do all of my conversions at the moment when CNT=ARR so that I make sure lower side of the FET is ON. I am trying to do OTA programming modifications using the DUAL bank feature of my STM32U575 IC with 1Mbyte of memory.I have successfully done this when the program starts in BANK 1 and I reflash BANK 2. I change the User Option byte to OB_SWAP_BANK_ENABLE and the board reboots and successfully runs from BANK 2.Now, on the next firmware update, programming BANK 1 when I am operating from BANK 2 the HAL_FLASH_Program command fails on the first byte.The erase code is attached and it is very similar to others I have found on GIT for other products. Does the U5 have an inherent defect? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am facing very weird issue in STM32 ADC.1. I used single channel in polling mode and interrupt mode the value i got was 4095, even the pin voltage was 1.7V, i used DSO to look for any serious noise on the pin but it was clean.Also if i gave 0V to this pin (pin 29 Ch10) it displayed adc value round 30.2. Then i tried DMA for single channel CH0 it behaved same.3. Then i tried DMA for 3 channel Ch9,Ch10,Ch11... behavior was same but this time if i touched any of the ADC Channel from ch9 & ch11 the value of Ch 10 became 2200, which was quite correct.4. Then i tried DMA for only Ch10 then adc value became 4095 for 1.7V and touching any pin doesnt do anything.Just if i give 0V instead of 1.7V adc value come near to 30-40.5. Circuit checked multiple times its a custom PCB, connections are solid.. track distances are well above the standard.6. Hi There,So, I got some of the STM32C011J6 MCUs for my simple project of reading sensors data and generating an interrupt.But I am in a dilemma, that the MCU's has I2C Pins, SWD Pins for programming, GPIO pins to act as interrupt but how to initialize it in CUBEMX.I am planning to build PCB after I successfully assign pins in CUBEMX.When I choose I2C, It blocks the SWD Pins and Vice versa. Also, is External Crystal necessary for such MCU? Looking forward to most of the suggestions and resources.My plan is to read a sensor data via I2C and generate interrupt on a GPIO Pin. 

Been reading thru the F103 datasheet to try and figure out why my TinyUSB based code isn't working. The datasheet says.. "For mono-directional/single-buffer endpoints, a single register can be used to implement two distinct endpoints". The F103 has 8 physical endpoint registers. There are no flags in those registers to set mono or bidirectional mode. Each register only holds one EP address value. My application requires creating EP0 (IN+OUT) + 4 * (Bulk IN+Bulk OUT+Interrupt In)=2+4*(1+1+1)= 14 EP addresses in total. The datasheet continues on to say "The number of registers is 8, allowing up to 16 mono-directional/single-buffer or up to 7 double-buffer endpoints(a) in any combination. For example the USB peripheral can be programmed to have 4 double buffer endpoints and 8 single-buffer/mono-directional endpoints." So how can you get 14 EP addresses into 8 endpoint registers?

Hi ST Team,We are using CAN on STM32L562 in classic mode.After configuring, we se FDCAN.PSR.ACT to be 1 as can be seen in screenshot below.This means, node is neither receiver nor transmitter.Why is this happening ? We are able to receive the data, but the CAN controller does not send the ACK when a frame is received which results in retransmission of the frame from the transmitting node.Tried configuration:hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = ENABLE;hfdcan1.Init.StdFiltersNbr = 1;Yet ACT bits in FDCAN1->PSR becomes '0x1' when the instruction "CLEAR_BIT(hfdcan->Instance->CCCR, FDCAN_CCCR_INIT);" is executed (i.e. while leaving the initialization).It can be seen in the screenshot below.Please find the below attached screenshots.

Good days at all. I need to start a project and I'm unsure which path to take: I'd like to create an application that requires some tasks to run in parallel and some to run at different times. I've used timers as interrupts in the past, so as soon as a timer reaches its end, I can execute tasks. Now I know I can also use tasks using FreeRTOS, and as I've seen in general, it seems that each declared task has settable delays. My question is this: when working with multiple tasks, is it better to use FreeRTOS or the interrupts of the various timers available? Another question: are the delays that can be set in the cycles within the tasks precise? From what I understand, I believe that both the timer and the FreeRTOS task are non-blocking activities for the processor, which can then perform other tasks without being "blocking." Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I have been trying to set up an ethernet connection to stream camera output for my own project (using the STM32N6 Discovery Kit with a different IMX image sensor). Before working on this, I uploaded and ran the VENC RTSP Server application, and it was working correctly. I then returned back to my own firmware implementation for a day or two and I could not get the ethernet to work.Then, when reuploading the VENC RTSP Server application, I found that it was no longer working. Hello I am having an weird issue and was hoping if someone could provide some guidance. Hardware : Two Stm32 H7 with CAN Transciever Nvidia Orin Can Adapter/Sniffer (Canable) What works :  Stm32H7 to Stm32H7 Nucleo Board Can Bus works. Nvidia Orin < - > Canable Adapter Can bus works. Issue : Can bus communication from stm32 H7 to Canable Adapter are not coming through. neither Tx nor Rx. What have i done to troubleshoot Checked wirings for High to High and Low to Low and Tx and Rx as well. Checked voltages for Rx pins at 3.3v( using level shifters wit h transciever) Checked termination resistance and have tested the connections in isolation with both ends terminated with 120ohms ie (stm32- > stm32, Stm32-> adapter, Stm32 -> Orin) I have tested with different baud baud rate like 250, 444, 450, 440, 500k. Hello, we have device with very old TFT display which is dying. New one is unable to obtain. It has similar interface as DCMI: vsync, hsync, pixclk, D0-D8.I have connected these clock/data lines to DCMI port, but interrupts was not triggered.Here are my clock lines (from top: vsync, hsync, pix):I suspect that timing of clock signals is not correct - compared with image I have found:clock signal is continuous, hsync/vsync falling at the same time... Can somebody confirm this, or can somebody point me to document with detailed dcmi clock format/timing?Thank you.mm

Hello,I am working on a hobby project with https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers-microprocessors/stm32f767zi.html.I have my own build and development environment based on arm-gcc-none-eabi and CMake and all HAL Drivers and Libraries from STM.The board starts properly up and I have started to work with GPIOs. Most of my initialization routines are copied from Example Projects. I think, that they are very similar, but I´m not 100% sure yet. While initializing the LEDs, the MCU produces a HardFault (and sometimes a Memory Fault) from within the HAL Code. Currently HardFault occurs very consistently. I am not able to connect and re-program or debug my STM32C011 ICs after I set up SWCLK and SWDATA as ADC on my firmware.NRST pin is connected and it still doen't workI know this is expected behaviour, but I should be able to re-program it by connecting the NRST pin to the debugger, however, this is still not fixing the problem.
