I want to use LPTIM1 of the STM32G0x1 to wake up the MCU, if it's not already awake, and start a DMA multichannel single conversion. I think I know how to do the DMA/ADC part after getting the ADC_MultiChannelSingleConversion example running; I'll the code from that project to this one later.. But the most part is waking up. Hi,I have two identical flight controllers from BetaFPV:https://betafpv.com/products/f405-4s-20a-toothpick-brushless-flight-controller-v5-blheli_s-icm42688?_pos=11&_sid=55080f3df&_ss=rboth using an STM32F405 MCU. I noticed that the unique device IDs (UIDs) on both are suspiciously similar. Here they are:0025001e3133510c34383739002300283133510c34383739As you can see, the last 64 bits (3133510C34383739) are exactly the same on both chips. Only the first 32 bits differ slightly.Since STM32 MCUs are supposed to have globally unique 96-bit identifiers, this seems strange. Could this be a sign that the chips are counterfeit or cloned? Or is it possible (though unlikely) that chips from the same production batch could share most of the UID?Any insight from ST or community experts would be appreciated.Thanks in advance!I bought both from the same online store, a little more than a month apart.

Hi, ı am trying to send some buffered data via SPI but it doesnt work. PA5-6-7 are automatically set by SPI and I also enabled PB6 for CS. Normally my algorithm needs to:1) Send 3 HF pulses to low and start interleaved ADC simultaneously.2) Take 1400 samples by DMA ADC(ADC Buf is 700 but it is interleaved so 1400 samples)3) Buffer this data and when DMA finishes, send it via SPI DMA4) Wait around 40ms and repeat You can find my main.c below.Also in logic analyzer that ı set for spi, I can kind of see the pulses but they and also CS pin are very unstable. 

Hi all,I'm working on the STM32U5G9J-DK development board and trying to enable USBX-based MSC (Mass Storage Class) device functionality.My actual product is a battery-powered device, so USB Power Delivery (PD) is not an option. However, it's critical for my application to detect when a USB host (e.g., PC) connects or disconnects to/from the device, as I need to perform certain app-level tasks on both events.Since the USBX MSC device example was missing in CubeIDE, I updated the USBX CDC ACM device example to function as an MSC device. The device starts and I receive the "USBD_STORAGE_Activate" callback when a host is connected (when I call HAL_PCD_Start directly after initialization), but I do not receive the "USBD_STORAGE_Deactivate" callback when the host disconnects.I also tried enabling the VBUS sensing option, but the example started misbehaving when I selected that. I am usi the IDLE event functionality of UART with HAL_UARTEx_ReceiveToIdle_IT() on an STM32G473QET6 controller. Is there a way to change the idle timeout using STM32CubeMX, or are there alternative methods to modify this setting?

Dear ST trams,I am using STM32H750 for a project. In the STM32CubeMX, I configured two ADCs in Dual regular simultaneous mode only. Also I am using DMA and a timer for trigger. I have activated 6 channel for each ADC. The sequencing of channels is as below:ADC1: ch18 -> ch16 -> ch2 -> ch14 -> ch15 -> ch3ADC2: ch10 -> ch4 -> ch2 -> ch5 -> ch9-> ch7In the Keil debugging mode, when I am checking the ADC_BUFFER, I see that the sequence of channels is different. It seems that ADC2 sequence is shifted by one (like this: ADC2: ch7 -> ch10 -> ch4 -> ch2 -> ch5-> ch9 ). Could you please help me in this issue?Could the problem is the clock prescaler?Best regards,Davood.

How do I configure the DFDSM peripheral using CubeMX?I do know about the application note AN4990 and have read it. Hi,I am trying to establish a successful transfer using SPI in master full duplex DMA mode using a NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board (STM32H7RSxx family)..The runs and SPI data can be seen from the MOSI pins, but with one problem: data is not successfully sent.In the following photo:504B @50MHz are being transmitted (CH1 trace - yellow one - is SCK, CH2 trace is CS):total time of transmission is:20us * 3.1 = 62usvs(504*8/50e6) = 80.64uswhich is the time required for such a full transmission, meaning that approx. 116 B (according to these numbers) are missing on transmission.However, when I read the GPDMA_CxBR1.BNDT[15:0] (previously programmed to 504) after GPDMA TC Irq, its value is 0, meaning that all the 504 should have been transmitted... But that's not true according to oscilloscope analysis.So ... what is the missing piece? Maybe an LLI setup?Thanks,s. 

I'm designing a custom PCB with STM32U545NEY6Q and I don't need to use the SMPS, only the LDO. I'm not sure how to connect the SMPS, I found a post about the STM32H745IIT6, and followed the same procedure, but should I do that? I followed the datasheet recommendations and connected the pins as shown in the image below.I didn't find a similar version of the MCU without the SMPS, and the MCU dimensions fit my design perfectly. Can you tell me if this connection will work? Or recommend another similar MCU, from the STM32U5 series, without SMPS?

So i'm working on a way to generate pulses with both Timer 1 and 8 (advanced motor control timer) independently in OPM PWM mode 2 with the Slave Gated mode to control a each a stepper motor driver. I want to use as much as possible the hardware because sometimes the frequency of the steps are really high and the interruptions are slowing down the process.Both are using the TI2FP2 on their channels 2 (to stop the timer when raised) for some home sensors (only enabled when going on the home sensor direction by changing the slave mode) and generating the pulse (pwm) on the channel 3 with use of the RCR register to trigger the amount i want thanks to the OPM mode, and sometimes i change the ARR register to modulate the frequency of the steps and then reload the RCR register to be updated on the next UEV.I'm also counting the number of pulses done by each timer with a secondary timer using the TRGO OC1 (and that's works perfectly) to see if my motor loose steps when doing a movement to the

I've setup the FMC peripheral of an STM32H7 to read registers from an FPGA by creating a faux SRAM interface on the FPGA.  This works just fine so long as the FPGA has no issues but if, say, the FPGA is unprogrammed or the FPGA data bus gets hung, this forces the STM32 to hang.  It doesn't seem to be able to recover in this event.Is there a way to timeout the memory bus/FMC peripheral to recover from this?

Hello everyone, so it is my first time designing a board with stm32l476rg MCU. I was using the reference design from this sheet: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4555-getting-started-with-stm32l4-series-and-stm32l4-series-hardware-development-stmicroelectronics.pdfWhen I was looking at datasheets to choose LSE and HSE I saw this note on section 7.7 of https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um1724-stm32-nucleo64-boards-mb1136-stmicroelectronics.pdfAlso, for my project I used STM32L476RG Nucleo-64 board and in clock configuration, I think only internal oscillators are used.I am not sure if tere is a passive use of the HSE and LSE because I think those are like default for every stm32 project but I am trying to understand why are LSI RC and HSI RC not enough. Not stable with temperature changes maybe because of RC or precision, not sure. Appreciate any help. Also is the reference design on here: https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an4555-get

Hello,STM32F411 microcontroller.Where can I find what mode (input/output or pull-up/pull-down) to configure the GPIO for alternate functions? For example, for UART or SPI and so on.For example, for STM32F103 microcontroller, there are tables that help you select the appropriate GPIO settings for alternate functions (UART or SPI and so on) in the Reference manual. For STM32F411 microcontroller, there are not tables that help you select the appropriate GPIO settings for alternate functions (UART or SPI and so on) in the RM0383 Reference manual. There are this information (see figure bellow) in the RM0383 Reference manual, but there are no such clear tables as for the STM32F103 microcontroller. 

Hello Using a STM32U5G9NJHxQ.Using a 646x480 1byte per pixel monochrome Dcmi camera --> 310080 bytes --> 77520 words (32 bits) --> according to AN5020 6.4.8 this means Double buffer mode for medium resolutions, continuous capture in my case.Based on DCMI_ContinousCap_EmbeddedSynchMode example, I made some changes to try the linked list and double buffer.Please see txt file attached explaining my testing.Please, is there any official example from Stm on how to configure stm32u5g9 Dcmi with linked list and double buffer ? Regards.            

Good morning, I am trying to debug an STM32H573II with ETM, but I cannot get it to enter that mode.Debugging without trace with SWD works correctly. I have used this environment: - uVision 5.42- ARM Compiler 6.21- STM32CubeMx 6.14.1 I have performed the following checks: - MCU Non_Secure mode. Avoid conflicts.- Enter debug mode with SWD.- Verified pinout.- Checked that JTrace - CortexM works ETM with other MCUs (STM32H7, STM32F4, tested)- Generate an empty project with STM32CubeMx, just to enter debug mode with trace  The JTrace log indicates a problem with the reset, but there is no problem if I debug with SWD and SWD+SWO. Can you help me, please?Has anyone had problems with any H5?
