About the DS11532

Hello ST Community team,

On the DS11532:

  • The title of the Figure 20 should be changed to avoid any confusion between figure 20 and figure 21.
  • Also, the note under figure1 is not really clear since the STM32F767 TFBGA216 for example is not compatible pin to pin with the STM32F469 TFBGA216. So, I think the note should be clearer. It can even point to the application note AN4660 for details.

Could you please have a look.

Best Regards.

    Hi @Issamos ,

There is no duplication for Figure 20 and 21 as: Figure 20. is for STM32F76xxx TFBGA216 and Figure 21. for STM32F769xx TFBGA216 with DSI.

I escalated your issue regarding the text below the figure1 to clarify this (internal ticket number: 221536).

    Thank you for your contributions.

    Hi @Issamos ,
After deep check, we have concluded that the STM32F76x and STM32F4xx devices are indeed pin-to-pin compatible when not considering packages that include the DSI peripheral.

So, the following sentence in DS11532 under Figure 1 (page 19) :

    "The STM32F76x LQFP144, LQFP176, LQFP208, TFBGA216, UFBGA176 packages are fully pin to pin compatible with STM32F4xx devices."

    will be changed to:
“The STM32F76x and STM32F4xx devices are indeed pin-to-pin compatible when not considering packages that include the DSI peripheral.”

For further details, I recommend consulting AN4660, section 1.1.4 “TFBGA216 package,” which provides a through explanation of this compatibility.

    Thank you for your contribution.
