Does the STM32F4 support 1149.1 boundary scan test?

I cannot find a BSDL file or any mention of Boundary scan testing capability in the datasheets for the STM32F4 family.  Having said that, I did no find any mention of Boundary scan test capability in the STM32F1 or STM32F2 familes documentation either but they both support it.

So, does the STM32F4 family support boundary scan and if it does where can I get a BSDL file from?

    Dear gentlemen,

Yes, we support Boundary Scan STD_1149_1_2001 for all of our STM32 MCUs having JTAG . Indeed, The STM32F MCUs integrate two serially connected JTAG TAPs, the boundary scan TAP (IR is 5-bit wide) and the Cortex-M4 TAP (IR is 4-bit wide).

and our BSDL files  are always 2 :

+ A BSDL File for the CortexMx TAP and is common to all STM32Fxx devices

+ Boundary scan BSDL Files for each STM32Fxx on different packages

In order to run boundary scan, always provide two BSDL files to your

JTAG Boundary scan tool: the ''CortexMx.bsd'' and your selected ''STM32xx_device_Package.bsd''.

The Cortex-M Tap should be bypassed and Keep NRST pin of the STM32 MCU low to be able to run test patterns.

For more details on the internal TAPs description refer to the Reference Manual  (Not datasheet) of the selected STM32xxxx device , Section : JTAG TAP connection.

Production devices, BSDL files are available at web, but newer devices not yet ready, we will publish them as soon they are available.  But you can contact me if you have a special demand while giving the exact part-number & package or to contact our FAEs, ST contacts.

    Cheers,

    STOne-32.

The BSDL file I specifically need is for the STM32F417IGH6 in the 176-PIN UFBGA package if it is available.

    Thanks.
