How to understand the relationship between Oversampling and the right bit shifts in Sigma Delta ADC

I'm using STPM-3PHISOSD for testing with Sigma Delta ADC, but I can't understand the relationship between Oversampling of 800 and right bit shift of 6 in the default GUI. I looked up a lot of STM related materials, but none of them explained. In addition, the SINC filter module is not specified. Can you tell me how to filter and decimate the modulated 1-bit bitstream data to get the final digital result?
