Question

How to use external reference voltage for ADC (Nucleo-H723ZG)

I want to provide external reference voltage to 16-bit ADC.

So i need to remove the  R36.

And Vref is connected to Vref+ pin on the board.

These two things are the only steps i need to do right, after that i have to connect my external source to the vref+ pin and it will be the reference voltage for my ADC.

And i need to make sure Vref<= Vdda, small increase might not be an issue right?  Are there anything else i need to look into

    Looks okay at first glance.

small increase might not be an issue right

    Read the datasheet...

The problem with this on a Nucleo board might be, that (probably, not sure) the external VREF's capacitor is far away from the VREF pin.

The supply voltage isn't too bad / noisy, so depending on the routing of the VREF at the connector and where its cap is placed, it might make things worse.
