Question

Input bias current of comparator inside 48 pin STM32L073 microcontroller

Hi,

We have a 1MEG resistive divider which we hope to provide the reference to the comparator internal to the STM32L073.

Though we need to know the input bias current of the comparators inside this micro in order that we can calculate the volt drop by the bias current across the divider resistors.

Please advise if you can?

    Hello Grigson,
unfortunately I am not able to provide you any specific value for the input bias current of the internal comparator. But the comparator's characteristic should be negligible in comparison to the characteristic that goes from complex IO structure. Please see characteristic of IO in datasheet of the device. Comparator really should have minimal effect on that.

    Kind regards
