Newbie trying to Blink w/STM32H750B-DK

Hello,

I acquired the STM32H750B-DK development board. Initially, when I connected it to my PC, it would power on with a display and interface. However, for the past month, it no longer turns on at all. When I connect it to my PC, a folder opens with three files:

Fail.txt : 

The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU

Details.txt :

Version: V3J15M7
Build: Jun 14 2024 10:32:08

MBED

I have tried connecting it to multiple PCs and attempted to update the firmware, but nothing has worked.

Ok, I think you're missing a few things.

You put some other software on the board? What was that software? To blink LED's? Show the code you last put on the board.

The screen and user interface is dependent on code on the board, the original demo had this, subsequent firmware changes likely did not.

Can you access with STM32 Cube Programmer?

Can you pull the BOOT0 pin High? Either via a switch or jumper wire to a resistor pad, check the schematic. This will be necessary if the wrong LDO/SMPS settings was made in the software uploaded (H745=SMPS,H750=LDO as I recall)

Check powering jumpers, if there's an option to pick the power source, or measure current.
