Nucleo F446RE power supply

Good morning

I am about to receive a Nucleo F446RE board.

I'd like to add a 5V power supply, not using only the USB power supply.

Can I give the supply from an AC/DC converter (220V AC to 5V DC)?

Can I connect it directly to the board?

Do I need to connect it in series with a resistor? Which value for the resistor?

Do I need to connect it in parallel with a capacitor, to protect it?

you can connect external power in many ways from an AC/DC converter you do not need any resistors or capacitors
