Recommendation for STM32F4 MCU with Multiple UARTs, Quad SPI, and 100-120 MHz Frequency

Hello ST Community,

I am looking for an STM32F4 series microcontroller that meets the following requirements:

:small_blue_diamond: Microcontroller Requirements:
:white_heavy_check_mark: More than 2 UART ports
:white_heavy_check_mark: Quad SPI support
:white_heavy_check_mark: Operating frequency: 100-120 MHz
:white_heavy_check_mark: Preferred package: TQFP/LQFP, but open to other suggestions

Since this MCU will be used in an embedded system, power efficiency and peripheral availability are key considerations.

Hello,

For power efficiency as you mentionned, you might want to look at a newer STM32 range as the F4 family is a bit old.

For example STM32U5 or STM32L4+.
