ST future ARM Cortex M55/M85 line?

Are there any plans for ST to release an ARM Cortex M55 or (more hopefully for me) an ARM Cortex M85 line?

I am extremely interested in their number-crunching and vectorization features, and am very keen to see how they would perform in a real-time audio context.

I so, any ideas on broad-strokes time frames for such lines?

Thanks!

    Hi @etheory

    Thank you for your feedback.

The STM32N6 is based on the Arm® Cortex®-M55 and it has been officially launched yesterday at the STM32 Summit !

    hi etheory

maybe you can refer to the following information.

That doesn't answer the question because there is no way to know if the N6 is an M55 or M85 unless you are unofficially telling me it is, which would be big news.

    I think M55

    See https://blog.csdn.net/Simon223/article/details/129181614

(in one of the screenshots you will see STM32N6 with M55 indication)

Can be fake. But I guess a strong clue.

It's a real shame there is no stm32n6 option with an M85 core. The M55 is significantly slower (20%) due to 4.4 vs 6.28 core marks, and the M85 dual/triple issue and higher memory bandwidth. Any idea if we'll ever see an STM32N6 variant with an M85 core? Thanks!
