STM32H573VIT3Q Programming Issues

We are using the STM32H573VIT3Q in our project and have developed a POC board.

While programming via STM32CubeIDE in debug mode, we are encountering random errors (refer to the attached screenshots).
Additionally, STM32CubeProgrammer is detecting the controller inconsistently—some boards are recognized, while others are not (error attachments included).

In a few cases, boards that previously worked are no longer accepting new code uploads, although the existing firmware continues to run properly.

Any ideas on what could be causing these issues?

Sounds like a design issue, potentially with the power configuration. Can you upload the schematic?

Try using a lower SWD frequency. Probably won't help, but it might.

Hmm, not real sure. Looks like you're missing this recommended 10 uF cap, but I'd be surprised if that was the issue.

 

Is the SWD connection solid? Do you have another cable or programmer you could try?

I have tried adding the 10 µF capacitor, but the issue still persists.

The SWD connections are solid, and I have tested with different ST-LINK/V2 units, but the result is the same.

I also tried using an STLINK-V3; however, I observed that any controller programmed with the ST-LINK/V2 is never detected by the STLINK-V3. We also tested several working boards with the STLINK-V3, but it could never detect or connect to the controller.
